I chose Email Octopus because of their good reputation for responsive, UK-based customer support and I am so glad I did. So much more helpful than a huge US corporation, more approachable and wanting to understand my needs. Eleven out of ten every time! #### Cons I haven't got the hang of making templates that work for me, and it's not easy to find out where you create one. I just reuse old campaign emails and edit them as a workaround. I am happy with the automations, and the way that I can segment my subscribers. I also really enjoy their emails, and actually open and read them. Thank you for not sending them too often. Their response to my tech support requests were slow and when they did come, I couldn't understand the "techy" language and had to get my own help from friends who were more tech savvy then me. I find all the support in the knowledge base that I've used easy to understand. I've been able to set up my own segmented lists to cull my contacts and to set up landing pages etc. on my own. A great way to get started with building your list - for free! I have tried many email marketing providers and this is by far my favourite. Because they are so generous with their free plan and don't keep asking me to upgrade every time I try to do something on the portal (eg.
