It captures many data points from campaigns to website engagement to contact events. The feature I like most about Emarsys is their block-based email campaign creation interface. It supports advanced-level developing, giving you control over your email design. Cons: The price point is very high and competes at the enterprise-level pricing. For businesses with lots of transactions that drive multi-million dollar revenue, this is a no-brainer. For others, it's best to go with a more cost-effective solution. Reasons for choosing Emarsys The other products did not demonstrate well enough that it was worth the switch. We had invested time and staff to the implementation from Mailchimp. We weren't just about to jump to another solution the following year without taking the effort into serious consideration. The sales processes we went through during the evaluation period were frustrating with each of the vendors we spoke with. They failed to let us experience the use of their product. They wanted us to buy sight unseen, with little due diligence. Ultimately, there is nothing wrong with Emarsys for our purpose, so no real reason to switch. Reasons for switching to Emarsys We had run into limitations with Mailchimp, especially with integration with Magento.
