Jam-packed value for money with a NEW approach in customer marketing

I can send from multiple verified email domains and create automation triggered by activity such as "has opened email" or "has not clicked" for drip campaigns.

PROS

They have automation flows (build from scratch or use a premade template) for drip newsletters, follow-up emails with customers, and MULTIPLE custom domains you can send from. So I can send emails from company A or Company B.

CONS

At such a young stage, I would have hoped to see their prices a bit lower to gain traction, but they are very comparable to MailChimp so i can see why their prices are such today. It is reasonable pricing, but I can see it grow.

Reason for choosing Encharge

Better price. 1 customer counts toward your quota but that customer can have 2-3 different contact methods. That means yes I can send to the customer's email, but also, as part of their roadmap, Encharge is promising to also enable us to send these contacts a SMS or another form of messaging. I'm excited to see how they live up to that. And the price is comparable to Mailchimp.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

What I like most about Encharge is that they are taking an innovative approach at customer-based marketing. For example, other SaaS give you # of email contacts you can broadcast to, but Encharge gives you "customers".

Pretty good starting out

We are not very happy with the software, we will consider to continue using if the software can have their own native form builder since to create an integration for each of our clients and / or our own landing pages just is not what we look into automation software.

PROS

The software is very intuitive and the automation flows are very nice to setup, the customer support is amazing and the segmentation and lead scoring features are just what we need to nurture and segment our leads and our client's leads.

CONS

We were very frustrated with the lack of a native form builder inside the software, we have to go to an external app to connect with encharge which is in the current market status a below the par offer. There are similar apps that offer native form builders (and landing page builders) even with their free tier. Not everyone is a coder and can create zaps (paying for zaps) to use a form in their landing page.

Reason for choosing Encharge

Because of a lifetime subscription that would help us lower costs in the long term, but after seeing the lack of features we will need to go back unless they are offered very soon.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

We thought it would be a good switch, but this other software do offer the native form and page builder so we will possible revert back to them

A good choice

PROS

I was so lucky to have found this app for my email marketing. In fact, I didn't like to leave the comment but the team really are working so hard to make the product better. They deserve me to leave something here. I have been working Mailerlite for more than a year. In term of the value of the money, it isn't really good. I still remembered that the setup took me a few days. When I found Encharge, everything seems to be great. At least, their welcoming email and guidance are very detailed and thoughtful. it really touched my heart. They also provide a road map for sharpening their product with some more great feature. One thing I liked the most is their intuitive interface and numbers of contacts given which is much better then Mailerlite. After I used for a few days, I upgraded my plan from 10,000 to 15,000 contacts as I believe I can make use of their interface to get more traffic.

CONS

i still need to learn this email-marketing app from scratch.

Great alternative to ActiveCampaign

I have been a loyal ActiveCampaign user for years, but it has become very expensive if you really want to grow your audience, plus if I wanted to add a Facebook retargeting feature, it would shoot the cost even more. I was apprehensive to switch as I worked with Cinvertbox and Mailchimp before and ActiveCampaign came out on top on many levels, but wow, I am so surprised at the ease of use and the deliverability of Encharge. And I can confidently grow my list without constantly trying to keep it under the next tier to save some money. My email marketing is more about nurturing than sales and having to pay huge fees without direct ROI is what ActiveCampaign has lost my business.

PROS

I love the ease of use and how fast everything loads comparing to ActiveCampaign

CONS

There are a couple of useful features that are still missing, but nothing to stop me from executing exactly what I need, plus they work very fast through their roadmap ideas.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

ActiveCampaign is too expensive for small businesses.

I use Encharge as content creator

I publish several blogs. My readers like to get informed about new posts and changes on my websites. For that purpose I need a service that gives my readers the possibility to subscribe to my mailing list. Encharge saves my subscribers and gives me the option to segment them into groups and tag them. With that kind of information, I can send very targeted emails to my audience. The Flow Builder allows me to automate many of my marketing tasks.

PROS

I use several automations for communication and marketing in Encharge. This is possible with the powerful Flow Builder.

CONS

It is a powerful mature automation SaaS software. With that kind of service double opt-in is mandatory. I don't know why it is not implemented already.

Reason for choosing Encharge

I like the modern user interface and the features.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

I feel Encharge is more mature then Automizy.

Great Builder of Emails and Automations

So far so good. I'll be spending quite a few hours transferring everything over to Encharge, fingers crossed.

PROS

What I really like most of all is the email builder. I'm been using ActiveCampaign for nearly 7 years and have been completely frustrated with the email builder and how out of date it is. Switching to Encharge felt a little like Christmas Morning. Additionally, I enjoy how they have laid out the Automations flow, it's not nearly as rigid and clunky as AC.

CONS

The software is new, so I anticipate changes and updates. For now, though, I feel the UI isn't as quick and accessible as I'd like. I can't really search for things, I have to scroll for things when building emails and automation.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

I have been frustrated with the lack of development and updates at AC and their constant price restructuring.

Very good alternative to aweber / activecampaign

Very good, I am happy.

PROS

I liked the fact that it had a section for people (like a CRM) that was easily accessible, it has a section for flows (with lots of different templates already created) , the emails themselves are very pretty and easy to set up and the various triggers integrate with a variety of services including forms, stripe, Mailchimp, zapier, etc. The process of segmentation is also intuitive and the interface is easy to understand without a manual.

CONS

At the moment there is a lack of integration with thrive themes which is a problem fo me and the zapier integration has some glitches but I am told a lot more integrations are coming.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

mailchimp is complicated and after a certain number of subscribers expensive

Know Your Customer and They'll Want to Know You.

I'm able to serve ads to people who have particular models. I don't want to send them an email showcasing a sedan if they are truck owners. Encharge does this at a great price.

PROS

Encharge allows me to service my customers exactly where they are. With Encharge I'm able to speak directly to their pain points by addressing them and their vehicle's concerns directly. Streamline broadcasts and simple drag and drop interfaces too.

CONS

Although it segments customers, I wish the tagging features would improve.

Reason for choosing Encharge

The customer service and ease of use.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

Cost and broadcasting functionality. Not as convoluted.

Bye bye Active Campaign!

I was looking for replacement for Mailpoet and Automizy. My first choice was Active Campaign, but wait... Encharge is better because it is not just a email marketing software - it is more than marketing automation app. It is a great piece of software for marketer, course creator and salesperson who want to automate lead acquisition.

PROS

+ website events tracking and triggers based on it (or app events if you implement it) with form submission tracking + native integration with a lot of apps (facebook leads for me is a number one) - bye bye zapier/integromat + webhooks/zapier/integromat/pabbly + intuitive and beautiful interface + flow (automation) templates that you can start in a seconds

CONS

- lack of own form for subscription (but they are during impementation) - double optin based on tags (should be better implemented i.e. like in Mailerlite)

Reasons for switching to Encharge

Better event tracking and website monitoring, native integration with Facebook Leads

PROS

Good integration. Easy and straightforward workflow and great UI and funnel setup.

CONS

I haven't found any cons so far, but I hope it can integrate more WordPress features and plugins since that's what I use.

Amazing app

UE is good and you'll be happy with the tool. Being in touch with your clients will be easy and fun with with the email options that are include in the app.

PROS

The automation is one of the most beautiful tools that Encharge has. It's an amazing app in which you can automate your emails to increase conversions. On the other side you have the chance to create amazing broadcasts to your audiencie, which is totally cool. The customer service is amazing and you won't have any kind of problem with customization.

CONS

I think that the UI is cool but it could be improved. Anyway I've seen that they've been improving it constantly.

Reason for choosing Encharge

I think that Encharge has more experience in terms of Automation and workflows.

Encharge is a game-changer in the Email Automation industry!

Overall, I love Encharge and what they offer for this pricing. It's a great and powerful tool for anyone looking to automate their emails to their students, subscribers, users.

PROS

1. Encharge integrates really well with its existing partners (I use Swipe Pages) and Zapier. This is powerful, in my opinion, to keep automation live. 2. They use Sendgrid and AWS for email deliverability. This is robust infrastructure talking. My emails got delivered really well in my usage and it's lightning-fast! 3. Their pricing is quite competitive as well. For 2000 subscribers they offer $49 plan. For the powerful automation + unlimited emails + unlimited broadcasts + unlimited flows + free email verification and validation, this is a steal. 4. A separate toast for the free email verification that they throw in for any level and plan. 5. Tags can be used to segment and create lists of subscribers. This has been easy to set up and powerful in using within automation flows. I created a flow within an hour that had 5-day drip content as a mini-course - fully automated to anyone who downloads my lead magnet. Talk about ease of use and time savings!

CONS

Emails can be reused in different flows but quite naively (like me) if you alter anything within any of such emails, it affects all the flows. Makes sense, but I learned it the hard way. This might improve in the future.

Reason for choosing Encharge

For its pricing and scalable design.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

Powerful automation with visual flows.

Powerful, delightful to use, next generation email & marketing automation tool

TRUE email and marketing automation through advanced flows, tagging, segmentation. It's a huge relief from using dated tools like Mailchimp. Visual FLOW builder allows me to really visualize and understand the whole flow. And it's all in one, instead of using a 3rd party flowchart tool to draw, and map out the flow through some obscure process like in other tools, this is truly the 1 tool that I need.

PROS

1) Powerful "Flows" - very customizable flows which allows one to have multiple conditions, parallel pathways, allow multiple or single sends. 2) Powerful integrations - this is the secret sauce of Encharge, and why it's the next generation tool in my mind. It integrates with external tools like Hubspot CRM, Facebook Custom Audiences. It becomes your marketing automation stack, which is what I really dreamt of. While more integrations are coming on that are on my wish list, this is really what I want to invest in. 3) Advanced Segmentation & easy Tagging: As part of flows, it's easier to tag users, recognizing which form or opt in they came from, which campaign they are tied to, what downloads they did, what pages they landed on. Combined with segments, one can send out tailored messages. 4) Onboarding: I'm impressed by the onboarding emails received to really get one up to speed. This is an advanced tool, and it's really important to get users acquainted with the features. That being said, the user experience is really easy once you know what to look for. I'll advise users to think about their marketing flow, before creating them in Encharge.

CONS

Much to like. Below are my wishlist for improvements: 1. Google sheets integration: Not only just to add users, but adding of attributes to existing users in Encharge. For example, I may have many subscribers, but I maintain a list of "paid customers" in Google Sheets, with different products bought, subscription period. I'll like to just update Google Sheets, and have this updated in google sheets. 2. Hubspot 2 way sync: on a similar thread, to have Encharge recognize all attributes from Hubspot, and not just email address, on a live refresh basis. If this is already available I apologize, but this will be a winner! 3. Other CRM integrations like SalesFlare 4. Opt In forms: HTML forms are on the way, but I'll like direct integration from various common tools like Thrive Leads for Wordpress, Brizy Cloud. Yes this is dependent on these 3rd party providers, but getting subscribers INTO Encharge is a key success criteria.

A solid choice for intuitive email building and automation

I’m really pleased I found Encharge. I have used quite a few email marketing apps with various levels of automation, from the popular inexpensive choices to a few enterprise solutions. All have pluses and minuses. From my use of Encharge so far I would say it compares well to any of those I have used. Overall I find Encharge to be an amazing value and a great choice for what I intend to use it for: automating low volume email campaigns and integrating with other apps for marketing automation, fulfillment and tracking. I think it’s a great choice already, and the roadmap indicates it will keep getting better.

PROS

The email building options are great, with a choice of approaches available. There’s a clean and simple editor and a well thought out drag and drop builder. I usually use templates I’ve developed separately and adapt them to the ESP I’m using, which is also easy to do with Encharge. The automation flows are very nicely implemented. It’s very fluid and intuitive to build, and far more straightforward than some of the tools I have used. Segmentation and triggering capabilities are at least as good as any of them. There are almost unlimited ways to integrate campaigns with other apps, either through integration services like Zapier, through direct hookups with a list of specific apps, and through an API. Deliverability is a key concern. I gave up on a self hosted email application because it was just too much work to police deliverability issues on my own server. One or two of the services I’ve used were not that great for deliverability, though the enterprise oriented products are excellent – they have to be. Encharge is set up to be excellent in the deliverability area, and they make it clear they will not allow the service to be degraded by poor reputation senders, so I expect it to stay that way.

CONS

So far I have found a few small quirks, like the editor not working in the older version of Safari I have on one machine (Chrome is fine though), and a strange organization of some settings under the cryptic account section, rather in the settings section where you might actually look for them. Minor issues compared to the overall functionality.

A very powerful platform.

Overall it is a good experience. I feel it has been a good investment, a fully recommended platform. You have to take your time to learn how to use the platform in its entirety but it is certainly a great help.

PROS

The platform is really easy to use. You upload your contacts, design your email and send. The sending is really fast compared to other platforms so if you schedule emails, they will arrive at a time very close to the scheduled time. The best thing about this platform are the flows that you can make from the emails you send. It can be connected to your website and track user behavior. You can also connect with HubSpot to send the contacts created to the CRM. You can also connect it with Facebook and send emails to the generated leads. A very good platform with good integrations that allow you to do some content marketing in a very easy way.

CONS

Unfortunately not all good things. The support is somewhat average. Especially in the response time they have to take care of your problem. On the other hand, you can't delete the contacts you upload to the platform. So if you upload something wrong you will have to request the deletion of the contacts through support. And this support can take a couple of hours to respond. They allow you to move the contacts you don't need to archive, but sometimes you don't want to see them anymore and you just want to delete them. Otherwise, everything is fine. Easy to use, but webhook system makes it very powerful

Experience has been good. Easy to get going. Haven't found any bugs. Onboarding emails are from co-founder and he responded personally to my reply which is a good sign.

PROS

1. Flows are really simple to set up and use 2. Emails are easy to design for both desktop and mobile. I have a particular look and feel I like for mine that it normally takes an absolute age to get set up on other systems (and usually needs me to revert to an html editor). On Encharge it took a few minutes once I'd figured out my way around. 3. The webhook system is very powerful and allows direct integration with a whole host of tools without needing middleware like Zapier. At first it seems like integration is a bit sparse since it doesn't have the big list of direct integrations that more established email systems have. But it turns out that the webhooks are very powerful. I integrated it directly with Memberpress in a couple of minutes. With other systems I've needed to use Zapier and the integration has been distinctly flaky. With Encharge it was up and running fast and worked really well. For other integrations you can use Zapier, Integrately or Pabbly.

CONS

Even though the webhook system works well for both triggers and actions, I do think more direct integrations would be useful. Some tools work better with a direct API connection. Convertbox comes to mind as a tool which can show different forms based on the tags that visitors have in systems like Active Campaign or Convertkit. That can't be done with Encharge right now because the integration is a more basic one-way one via webhooks.

Reasons for switching to Encharge

Simplicity and ease of use - and company seems more responsive than current provider.

Amazing Email Marketing tool

PROS

I was looking a long time for an Email Marketing tool that can offer similar automations like others known in the Market and luckily I had the opportunity to be introduced to Encharge from a colleague. Encharge is a great Email Marketing tool that offers an amazing UX and UI. Just when I was introduced to it I knew that it was time to make the shift and say goodbye to other known costly solutions out there. You'll love the email builder because it's really cool and easy to use. Its drag-and-drop technology is so great, you'll wish that all of your online work was this easy. The customer service also is great with a couple of questions that I had and replied to me immediately. One of my favorite features is the User Segmentation! It's so easy to use and it's super helpful for automating your email marketing campaigns and behavior-based segmentation. A great way for sending targeted emails. I strongly recommend it to anyone that is looking for an email marketing tool and looks for an alternative of the ones that are known in the market.Email header

Encharge is a real winner!

Having worked with ActiveCampaign for over 4 years, I can say without a doubt that Encharge is truly capable of effectively replacing it. Aside from ActiveCampaign, and as an old marketing wolf, of course I have also worked with Mailchimp since its inception, going through other intermediate solutions such as ConvertKit and Automizy. Automizy is comparable to ConvertKit, but it is far from ActiveCampaign, and that is where Encharge finds its niche. Encharge surpasses Automizy in sophistication, coming very close to ActiveCampaign, making it suitable for special applications where one needs to manage the customer journey more finely.

PROS

- Sophisticated automation flows. - UI / UX very well done. - Email verification included. - Very good deliverability. - Great Value for the price.

CONS

Although Encharge is not fully mature yet, it has a very promising roadmap. I hope to see the forms and native integrations for Woocommerce and Shopify available soon, as I think they are indispensable for the new e-commerce scenario.

Reason for choosing Encharge

Better UI/UX and better value for the price.

A serious bit of email marketing automation kit...

You want to add people who open an email to a custom audience on Facebook? No problem. How about sending a special discount to contacts who view a product more than 5 times but have yet to buy? You got it. Yes you can do this is in other email automation apps but you'll probably need to leverage a tool like Zapier or Integrately to make it happen… with Encharge it’s all there. I'm definitely enjoying my experience with Encharge... so far so good. I’m told there’s more integrations coming and their roadmap looks impressive.

PROS

First thing you'll note is just how easy it is to get up and running with Encharge. The UX/UI is intuitive and, unlike other email-based automation tools, everything you need is not a more than 2 clicks away. Very well thought out What drew me to Encharge was the number of inbuilt 3rd party integrations, making set up email automation flows a cinch.

CONS

There’s no CONS I can truly think of for now except that I’m holding off on moving all my contacts and my client contacts until I test their deliverability. But that’s not really a CON, just a precaution I am personally taking.

CONS

There are no significant Cons that I can say, but here are a few if you need # No native forms yet. We may have to use external forms like WuFoo, ConvertPro. But Encharge team is working on creating native forms # No Paypal Integration (it has Stripe integration as an alternative) Since Encharge already does have a lot and loads of customers, their team is continuously working on implementing all these Cons.

Automation, Integrations and All Email goodness

PROS

When I was introduced to Encharge by one of my contacts in my network, I was a bit skeptical. Was using Mailchimp so far for my emailing the members who goes to my events. Always felt it needed a bit more nurturing to get them to commit to the events. Encharge makes it so easy with the drag and drop flow builder and to be honest, using webhooks I was able to use the form plugin called bitform to easily take the members from even t registration to a sequence of hyped up emails to get more engagement. The support team is incredible and the onboarding was good. There are so many useful integrations which I am sure I will be using in future, but for now triggers, webhooks and A/B testing is all I need. Did I forget to mention their fantastic successful email deliverability? No more spam for the members. Right to their inbox where it matters, especially the emails sent using broadcast.

CONS

Would like to see more integrations with many wordpress form builders. Including transactional email would have been a plus in the growth plan. Also would like to see woocommerce integration in place although it is in their roadmap.

Finally, software that was made for the normal human entrepreneur

PROS

Domain authentication for use with any mailer/ newsletter software application has always been a bugbear for all of us who are not hardcore geeks. We have our websites, want to communicate with our clients - all the technical bit in between about how the internet works is not our priority (and really shouldn't be!!) All these years, that bit - the creation of DNS records to authenticate the domain - has been shrouded in mystery and hidden in layers of more and more technical jargon. When setting up Encharge, right at the start, I breathed a sigh of relief, when all my DNS records were generated and spelled out to me - what to create, what values. And not just that - the lovely people at Encharge have error checking in place that actually considered the autocomplete feature in cpanel, and that some of us may be using Cloudflare, and reminded me to turn off proxying for these records. Domains verified overnight. Did not have to involve a condescending IT person, was not patronised.

CONS

None yet :-) mean to keep it that way. I know it is early days and I just started using the application - but this first step proved to me that you are thinking like me. Thanks a million, keep up the good work.
