Enplug is a digital signage solution used to display digital content. Companies can use Enplug to communicate their message to their target audience via social feeds, blogs, videos and other digital content.

Enplug allows companies to customize their content following their brand communication strategies. They can enhance their digital content by selecting apps from the Enplug’s app market.

Users can monitor social media content’s run time on a visual dashboard. They can track viewers’ engagement with their content using posts tagged on Twitter handles and hashtags.

Enplug’s customers include Toyota, Porsche, WB, GAP and Marriot.

More social interactive, a great platform to showcase promotions, customers enjoy the changing content such as news, weather, maps, etc.

Pros

It creates a social platform for our customers to view promotions, menus, media posts, news, weather, traffic, sports and other fun apps. The digital ease of it allows me to keep it updated with fresh content that can keep viewers engaged. I enjoy being able to manage it from any computer and the changes take effect instantly. Our customers love seeing their photos/videos displayed on screen and getting to see other people's experiences be showcased. It's a great product, quick customer service, and having this as a feature in our center really adds to the overall social customer experience.

Cons

There will be times when the apps have issues which makes our display have a big "error" screen appear - this is obviously very unsightly, but normally after contacting their support team they get the issue resolved quickly and easily. If not, a quick system reset typically solves most problems. The available app selection has been increasing over the months, which I love, so I would like to continue to see a wider selection of apps to display. This service is not cheap, but if you want to add a social and digital experience to your business then it's a great feature to invest in.

We like the "plug and play" aspect of the system. It is very easy to use, and has a lot of great features!

Cons

The one thing that we like least is that you have to pay a separate subscription for the DS Menu, but other than that no major Cons.

Love the user dashboard
Great screen preview option (for when you're not sitting in front of the screen)
Love the fact I can manage my screen displays remotely (and on my phone)
Tech support is very responsive, knowledgeable and proactive
Love that fact everything is on the cloud and also stored on the Enplug device

* Every time I needed infomation, I received a response right away -- I was always provided with very helpful details and great resources.

Cons

For the "html web page display app". I understand the scheduling features aren't yet available. We would be thrilled to use that feature when it is possible.

We mostly use Enplug for directory display for our executive office space. We have 2 locations and currently use at our largest location with 44 private offices with 44 different business owners.

So far the process of getting things set up has been very easy and was helped a ton by bobby alves, our main contact.

Pros

Haven't used it yet but it looks amazing and we cant wait to start!

Cons

It is a tad bit expensive but I think it's worth it for what you get in return and in exposure!

Lovely team at Enplug Africa. Used Enplug on 3 occasions, Like the team's response time on and off offline. Also like the flexibility in your prices.

Pros

SOlution is unique, your simple and beautiful display interface is the killer for me. Of the several platforms I have explored, giving yours my best rating. On the backend, I like the fact that you can prime SM images engagement by uploading photos yourself.

Cons

Not cool with fact that when you upload multiple photos on facebook, the solution picks on the first photo for display.
Inability to get a selected tweet/post stay long on the screen for a long time. (see livetweetapp as ref.)
Software/Platform loading time. locations with poor bandwith should also be taken into consideration.
I dont like the fact that when I remove a selected tweet/post that has been displayed, I cant recall again easily till I refresh the page.

Advice to Others

Cost. Affordability is key. Please make this possible.

I am a true support of Enplug. I have promote my restaurant through the software. My number one customer user based in Instragram. The photo is automaticly update onto the server & monitor. I am a hand on owner and always promote customers to interact with the Enplug software.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and manage.

Cons

Yelp Review & Facebook Page do not update automaticly onto the Enplug Server.

Please create more app and update to work with the existing software.

From an IT standpoint, it was a really easy install. Another provider has required us to open up ports on the firewall to make their solution work. After finding out that enplug syncs without network modifications, that was the huge win from IT.

Pros

Ease of deployment. Simplicity of cloud setup.

Cons

None that i know of

Easy to set up; easy to use; can stream custom photos/videos, social media accounts, RSS feeds, and web pages; can control everything from one admin.

My sales rep, Mike Lanni, is great and has always been extremely helpful. We had some initial set up issues with our Instagram account (our fault, not Enplug's) and Mike was very quick to put me in touch with their Support team. The Support team also did a great job troubleshooting. So far, very happy with our subscription!

We needed a powerful but cost-effective way of showcasing social media on large rear projection screens during our commencement ceremony.

The simplistic user interface and streaming media device combined with the ability to capture posts from all major social media platforms while still having the ability to moderate them, made Enplug the obvious choice for us. Most packages / services that come close to the combined functionality Enplug offers, are much more expensive and require a longer commitment than we were comfortable with it. Enplug allowed us to subscribe for the time we needed, and shut it down when we were done.

In addition, the dual flexibility of Enplug (hardware device and software display) also allowed us to leverage a direct feed to the monitors, while simultaneously web stream the output via our Tricaster as filler before the event went live.

The social media video wall was a huge success as graduates and their friend and families posted during the ceremony and saw that result instantaneously thereby significantly increasing the schools reach and interaction with it¿s audience both during and after the ceremony.
