GetResponse is a cloud-based marketing tool that allows users to connect with their customers through email and create landing pages. It caters primarily to small businesses, bloggers and marketing agencies.

GetResponse provides an email creator that helps users draft emails without any prior knowledge of programming. This module contains templates for sending emails and images for supporting design requirements.

Get Response's Inbox Preview feature displays how emails appear. A/B testing enables users to test the effectiveness of a campaign by optimizing elements such as subject line and the best time to send. GetResponse follows a responsive design approach, the appearance of emails can change according to the device display. The solution’s List Booster feature can import contacts from hard disks and mail clients such as Gmail, Magento, Salesforce and Highrise. It also implements an auto-respond module, which can send birthday emails and customized offers. Pricing is per month. Support is offered via chat, email and tutorials.

Supported Operating System(s):
Mac OS , Web browser (OS agnostic) , Windows 10

    I love it Get Response.

    Pros

I like that Get Response is easy to use, even for a beginner like myself.

    Cons

What I do not like so much about Get Response is that it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that I can get from some other competitors.

Got us up and runnign in a very cost effective way. I went with GetResponse because of the lower end pricing tier and what it offered and am very happy. Don't have any issues with email going to junk so far and it has done everything I've wanted it to.

    Pros

The pricing tiers. If you are brand new or dealing with relatively smaller email lists, this is the budget friendly option that gives you the most value. Others will charge double at the lowest tier for the same thing. Autoresponder worked well and other features like landing pages and multiple send from addresses are great.

    Cons

The interface. The software is quite advanced but I couldn't help but feel the UI needs some updating. It does everything very well, it should just be easier to use especially from a visual standpoint in seeing exactly how each autoresponder/ particular list is treated in your account

I use this software for a blog and educational website. I use it to send out a weekly newsletter and add opt in forms to my blog.

    Pros

I like that this software is lower in price, but offers many of the same features of the other expensive ones. I like to use the opt-in box features to promote lead magnets on my website. I also like that I can copy the email settings from a previously sent newsletter or autoresponder.

    Cons

The software feels very difficult to navigate if you have more than one opt-in or lead magnet. I wish there were a way for the software to send an auto responder for a particular opt-in without creating a new contact list. I'm constantly moving my contacts around and it gets cumbersome. There are also a lot of glitches with their drag and drop features on their design side.

I think they are a good company with excellent customer service. Although I feel their services are a little over priced I would still probably recommend this service.

    Pros

-Easy to Use for the most part
    -Customer Service is Awesome
    -Clean design

    Cons

-Prices: They don't have great prices compared to other AutoResponders
-Customer Service is not based out of US which causes a full day delay in email responses

Small Business, eLearning and Marketing Users must try

Get Response is used mainly for landing pages and workflows (aka Funnels). Very very handy and eMail AutoResponders have been implemented easily. You can save templates that you use over and over again and just adjust minor things for different applications or products/services. Love the workflow that has abandoned cart and options of what to do if an email is read or not and waiting time to resend, etc... Always learning more and more as they release following the BETA Test, more amazing features. There is also a Webinar option that I have used. Taught many of my Clients eMail Marketing by using Get Response. It made so much sense to them as many who create eLearning for sale do not realise that they need an automated system of some kind for tracking and selling via auto responders for residual income ROI.

    Pros

Get Response gave me a very smooth and cohesive introduction to all the elements of email Marketing and Campaign Management. It simplified so many buzz words I have heard for years and is still doing amazing things for my clients too who are new to email marketing and campaign management.

Ease of Use and Great UI

Extremely useful for Branding your eMail Campaigns.

    Cons

More tooltip text or hints , like a small hover box with information.

Also, clicking on the blue smile is apparently the home key that gets you back to the beginning, that is not clear and a tool tip hover box or some other 'accessibility' method would be useful. Other than that, I really do like Get Response as a mid-range eMail Campaign Management CRM

The Webinar did not always work well.

Having a blast with the software and the results. Exciting landingpages and now more customers to serve and share valuable content.

    Pros

I love the simple options to create my landing pages and easy of use to connect my platforms for receiving the information of sign ups. Drag and drop is awesome and the customizable options are plenty.

    Cons

It does the job, I have no cons.
But Im really excited to see them integrating with messenger chatbots!

It's been great generally, the free trial was something that attracted me to start using GetResponse in the first place and i really haven't regretted using them for once.

    Pros

Getresponse sure gave me good value for my money.
The ability to create landing pages and setup autoresponders seamlessly is awesome.

when i started to use getResponse for my blog, i could say that my list started to see positive increase.
Less of my emails, went into spam and deliverability issues were reduced.

    Cons

In my view, the only area they need improvement is in their integrations.

I wanted to start an affiliate program for an ecommerce website once and i so badly wanted to use GetResponse to manage emails being sent to my affiliate

    Unfortunately,GetResponse wasn't supported.

GetResponse is a mid-grade email service. It has some great features, but low ease-of-use.

    Pros

The thing that initially drew me to GetResponse was it's broad range of features. In-depth user segmentation features, landing page software, popups, etc... However after a few months of using this software, I'm a bit torn (you can read my cons below).

Let me focus on the pros of GetResponse. It's a powerful email marketing tool. It allows for supplement companies to use it, which was important to me. It has many different features, which are great.

    Cons

The user interface is not great with Get Response. This makes it very difficult to get around the software and find settings. Also, it doesn't integrate into Shopify (my e-com platform) very easily. For instance, I can't track my sales from Get Response into my store, which is a badly needed feature.

Get Response also makes it difficult to do more complex segmenting. It allows for user flows, but you can't track to on-website events (such as sales).

Greaty support, great features, great price but a bit too complicated and outdated designs.

    Pros

All email marketing software have this existential crisis of what they should add to their features to make their product more powerful. Instead, most of them (including GetResponse) should focus on one specific target market and become the easiest to use for them. Over time GetResponse has added powerful features, and become complicated in the process.

And it doesn't help that the who UX looks outdated. On the plus side their customer support. It's one of the best anywhere online.

    Cons

Outdated designs for templates and the UX. It makes you feel it is a 2.0 version of something that should be a 4.0.

    Pros

I used it to send email campaigns to my subscribers and let me tell you, it has got me the highest delivery rates. Landing page builder is just a cherry on the top.

    Cons

The simple/basic email builder doesn't offer email campaign status or tracking. This hurts when I have to send simple transaction or informational mails.

For the money, it seems to me other programs are a little more robust. Perhaps that is due to the particular target market.

The benefits are many. We can schedule our weekly eblasts, feeling confident that they will be sent, properly formatted and on time. We can stagger which has proven to be a benefit.

    Pros

One of the things that pushed Get Response to the top when making our decision was pricing. The generous discount they offer to non-profits was hard to turn down. It does everything we need it to do and it does it well. Especially the automation flows.

    Cons

Some of the templates are a bit antiquated. This is something that could easily be rectified with updates of the current, and additions. The other area that has some room for improvement is the drag and drop. Not a seamless process, but could easily be updated to make it more user friendly.

    Pros

GetResponse is quick to process each of the subscriptions, what I like most about this platform is that the prices are extremely low, lower than any other company, and this actually earns the trust and interest of many people and companies .

    Cons

The problem with GetResponse is that in many cases, the campaigns are no longer online and almost nobody can access them, that is more than half an hour without being able to access, I think this is a platform error and I would like to have it fixed .

It provides an excellent send rate.

    Pros

Getresponse was my main emailer for the past 14 months, it provided excellent value for someone who has a list under 5,000 people and It provides an amazing delivery rate compared to other low cost autoresponders.

    Cons

The biggest issue for me was the dramatic increase in pricing when you get even 1 subscriber above your limit, they charge you a pro-rated amount plus next months new pricing. On top of that it does not really provide much more for the increase in price.

    Pros

GetResponse is my favorite EMS by far. The software is fairly easy to use and for what you can't figure out they have tons of options and outstanding customer service to learn and get trained.

They have lots of great looking templates and you can also design your own with ease.

They have automation workflows that make mapping out campaigns really easy.

    The reporting is very robust.

    Cons

I wish they had a smaller starter plan...for 1-500 subscribers. For people just starting out, this would be very helpful.

It has benefited me in such a way that I have been able to establish a better correspondence in each email sent, this way I have been attending each client better and sending the necessary information, in the correct time.

    Pros

The great thing about GetResponse is the fast reception of Emails to all the subscribers to whom each email is sent, the truth is that the reception is processed in a matter of seconds each client has the email in his Email, the truth is that I am very proud of So good features that I've been getting from GetResponse.

    Cons

The problem of GetResponse is basically the support, I sent a couple of questions a while ago, about 3 months, and the customer service is not so pleasant, because if you do not understand what they are trying to say, you They respond with rudeness and even treat you badly.
