Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • Hotjar has an amazing feature which allows to record user behavior. It is extremely useful to understand how users are interacting with your product.
  • It is very easy to integrate using google manager or directly paste the code. One of the best thing in HotJar is Heatmaps it shows me which part of my website are working well.
  • Cons

  • The biggest downside is that I am unable to use the heatmap functionality for the email signup popup that is located on the site.
  • It's not the easiest to set up but still manageable. That's the only downside I can think of.

  • Social Pilot is easy to use and is pretty cheap. It offers great value for work and saves a lot of time for social media managers.
  • The subscription price points are excellent value for money and allow for growth as and when needed.
  • Cons

  • There is no automatic alert if any queue where to fail. This has only happened once in the past 8 months of using Social Pilot but you do need to keep you eye on the posting queue.
  • Mainly a problem with Instagram, but manual posting for every post is painful.
