The marketing side of HubSpot is super easy to use. I do multiple projects using workflows to create sequences and HubSpot makes the tools simple to use and can integrate with Facebook so that I can put these workflows to work.

Cons

Although they have a Learning Academy where you can learn about what they have to offer, on some I would have liked to see more thorough videos that give walkthrough examples when it came to workflows.

Cons

There are many features that you can use, but it will take some time to get educated on what you need and what you can add later. You might want to high a HubSpot expert to work with you side by side for a while.

A great platform that we are very happy with, and something I would recommend to growing businesses. I would suggest getting all of the features though, so factor that into your budgeting.

Pros

Hubspot is designed around inbound marketing and we love the features that help us increase our leads and conversion rate from lead to SQL to sale. I like the workflows, the blog publishing feature and the social media integration.

Cons

There are always going to be small issues that can be improved on, but so far they have all been minor. We can't BCC and email address in a workflow email, for example. The workflow builder isn't drag-and-drop, so I think that is one thing Infusionsoft has over Hubspot, but you can create branch logic around pretty much anything so it's fairly robust.

I highly recommend hubspot.

Pros

Usability is a major plus. A mature feature set that provides everything you need. Integrations that can be set up by non or semi-technical users. Hubspot is constantly innovating and adding improvements.

Cons

What I like least is that pricing is based on the number of contacts I have in Hubspot. It's not a huge problem, and it does encourage me to keep clean data.

I think HubSpot is absolutely necessary for anyone who wants an effective marketing program. It gives you the tools to see whether or not your marketing activities are actually leading to sales.

Pros

It's well organized, includes all the marketing automation features you need and it's very customizable. It's a comprehensive platform that allows you to go into as much detail as you need. It can be used for everything from website and social media management to customer engagement and mass email.

Cons

Some of the editors for emails, website pages, etc. are a little clunky. If you are not careful, you can end up with a poorly formatted email or website page. Their email templates could use a lot of work.

I've been really impressed with customer support. They are just a phone call away and stick with you until they've satisfied your need. They are also always adding new features (sometimes it's a little overwhelming to keep up with, but overall a good thing!).

Cons

There are a few quirks I don't like--my biggest bet peeve is your can't prevent data fields from being overwritten when you upload data (this was the most surprising lacking feature when we transitioned from Eloqua to Hubspot).

We migrated to HubSpot from Marketo and boy what a difference! HubSpot's UI is beautiful and the UX is very intuitive. It was very easy to integrate with Salesforce so we could sync customers and contacts between the two systems (although there is a fair amount of synch errors that were unexplainable by either HubSpot or SFDC). Setting up and tracking campaigns, landing pages, drop campaigns, and ad-hoc emails was a breeze. Their email template builder is great. Overall we couldn't be happier with our switch from Marketo to HubSpot.

Cons

Support was generally responsive, but didn't seem knowledgeable about the product. It always seemed like a lot of back and forth to explain the issues we encountered.

Pros

Hubspot is easy to use, offers great support material and hand holding if needed. For inbound marketing needs, Hubspot meets my company's needs to drive meaningful conversations with my prospects to share content, deliver nurture campaigns, and engage with anyone in my database.

Cons

There are times when I wish the tool was more verbose in terms of creating workflows with Salesforce. Hubspot is great tool for beginning marketing teams, but if you're looking for more advanced options for demand gen it does lack some features.

It's pretty easy to use, to create contacts, see a list of your contacts, and write notes on each contact. It's also nice to be able to see all your contacts and notes from your phone. I have not used the other features yet though.

Cons

I don't know if the paid version has these features, but I would've liked for the notes to automatically save as I'm writing them (kinda like when you start writing an email in gmail). I'm a realtor and I wrote this one long Note where I listed a number of properties for my client. I clicked on the wrong tab and closed the HubSpot tab in my browser. When I went back to Hubspot, that note didn't save. It only saves if you click Save.

The second thing I'd like would be the ability to format the note: use Bold, Underline, highlight in color.

I'd also like to be able to email a note, and I can't do that now.

What I like most about HubSpot is that there are SO many different features available to use from a marketing perspective. We were using a different vendor in the past and when our organization signed an agreement with Hubspot we felt as if we had been missing out on so many features for a long time. Not only is it great having so many capabilities to use within the system, but we can see how the capabilities we are using is effecting our bottom line.

Cons

There is not really anything that I dislike about the system besides the fact that before we signed our contract with them, they came in extremely high on their price for us to purchase the system. After several calls to negotiate the price, we ended up signing a contract for less than half of what was originally offered.

The content management is great. I LOVE the dashboard. I can see at a glance literally everything i need to see, and can customize and filter data the way I want to see it. Hubspot interfaces with other solutions pretty easily, which is a perk if you have a small or low budget tech team.

It's easy to integrate to different analytics as well. It's great that we have reduced significant amount of communication resources from marketing to sales.

It's bit complicated to learn for the first time and takes time to educate each users. UI is great once you get the hang of it but we had to use individual YouTube tutorials to master some of the features we wanted to use.

As a software company ourselves, I immensely appreciate the usability and design. It's a complex tool, but it always feels easy to find what you want. Cons

The expanded dashboards being priced separately, sort of an expansion pack. The data is so good, ALL will want many many dashboards. Depending on who your audience is.

Trainings are incredible. The software allows you to save a full marketing salary if not more.

Pros

HubSpot in general is pretty amazing. We schedule all of our digital marketing, from blogs, to social media, to emails and everything in between to go out through the platform. It provides outstanding metrics to support the marketing budget and provides valuable data to let you know what is working and what isn't.

Cons

You really need to go through onboarding to understand the tool to the full extent. Without onboarding, it takes a long time to learn. We did not do onboarding, and finally learned how to use the tool via the marketing software training and a whole lot of trial and error, but had we gone through onboarding it would have saved us a lot of headaches. I marked ease of use down for this reason. And I marked down customer support because they don't let you know how crucial onboarding is. Then once you have the platform and are struggling, they offer it at a higher cost than you could have gotten it if you went through onboarding upon signing up.

Pros

I loved the functionality of the platform. Its all very simple and allows you to quickly and easily track your leads, follow your sales, and keep well organized documents. Compared to a lot of other CRM's, Hubspot is very user friendly. Quick to learn, easy to use.

Cons

The price for this platform seems a bit higher vs the other CRM's even though it comes with a free version. It is very limited on its capabilities. It's only good if you have a rapidly growing business and you need to keep people organized and your business in line.

I've worked with several different marketing automation tools and this one takes the cake. I love how easy it is to integrate a number of different strategies. You can handle your social media posts, the analytics behind all of the pages, link paid spend, watch competitors, and send all of your emails out of the same tool. They've done a great job and continue to better themselves with each release. Their support team is top-notch, they always assist with questions no matter how small and don't make you feel silly for asking.

Cons

It's still a newer product in comparison to the larger companies like Marketo and they are still building out functionality. However, they listen to customer feedback, which I really like about the company and you can tell they're always looking for ways to improve.

The software is robust, even at the free tier. It does provide some much needed features for starting businesses though there are a few pit falls.

Cons

On the lowest tier, and what makes this most difficult to use is the inability to host domain based e-mail and the requirement for a third party solution. For businesses who are just starting out, this is a necessity and the little charges add up very quickly. If this feature was added to enable very small businesses to grow, Hubspot would be able to lock in that market segment and decimate their competition. Additionally, the price jump from the "free" to the next tier is a bit steep when adding all of the solutions which is pretty much required as their software is the most compatible with other segments of their own software. Add the solution(s) that small businesses use most, work on the pricing a bit, and you'll have way more customers for life.

I am able to create the marketing pieces that I need to advertise the company I work for with ease. I have also segmented our contacts to make sending out email blasts to the appropriate groups much easier on a regular basis.

Pros

I like that I can create landing pages, emails and blogs with ease. It has made my job significantly easier using this tool, and it continues to help produce inbound leads each and every week.

Cons

I have recently changed to the updated layout, and I am not a fan yet. I only use 1/2 of the tools offered (marketing & sales basic) so there are a number of items in the navigation that I will never use that are just taking up room in my opinion. I get that it is a way for HubSpot to boost sales by having additional people sign up for other tools, but I am not in need of the other items in the foreseeable future.

Grow little by little with the support of the platform with metrics and other business training resources. I like the way they have created a complete platform that suits your needs and aspirations.

Pros

It is very intuitive and easy to use. In the same place you have everything you need to fulfill your work or personal commitments within social networks. The added value that I see, which I have not found on another platform so far, is that they offer you training, timely but important for people who are just beginning in the world of digital marketing.

Cons

They have invested time and resources in offering a complete platform, I have not found an aspect that I dislike.

Hubspot Marketing is feature rich and easy to use, and most of the tools you require are available at your fingertips.

Cons

Technical support really ought to be free, since I've already paid for a 12 month subscription. Also, A/B testing should be a free feature, since there are free marketing suites with that capability.

As far as room for improvement - currently, we cannot offer email and phone support to free users in order to keep our free products free. However, there are many other support resources such as the Community or the Academy that are open to free users - do you find that you use that resources very often?

To manage personal and professional network

Pros

The software is recommended by a friend to manage relationships and network. It has features that are very handy in helping you track your interactions with your network - be it professional or personal.

Cons

It takes a lot of time to manage and manually collect information. Integration with other platforms are useful, maybe better integration with major platforms like Linkedin, Outlook. Right now it seems the email contact merging option is only gmail.
