iContact is a Web-based email marketing tool designed for businesses of all sizes. This solution offers email design, list management, campaign management and social media publishing within a single solution.

iContact features multiple customizable email templates that help users design content for their email campaigns. Users can also schedule message delivery by picking the right tags from their email lists.

A key feature of this solution is SpamCheck, which reduces the chances of emails being labeled spam by checking the email subject, HTML email and text email against a set of rules thereby improving the email deliverability.

In addition to its email marketing capabilities, iContact also offers social media integration with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, allowing users to publish content on these websites from within the solution itself.

With the help of customized reports and dashboards to monitor campaign performance, users can gain a complete view of all their email campaigns.

    It gets my message out and a seeming unlimited library. After the very short learning curve it's very easy navigation.

    An ideal email marketing software that lets you create newsletters easily with its easy to use application. Manage your contacts by creating lists with contacts that match your campaign. What i like about icontact is that aside from uploading or grag and drop option for adding contacts is that it has a sign up form feature thatyou can embed in your website. When a customer signs up the information goes straight to your contact list. Create your email content easily with its content creator tool with thousands of themes or designs to choose from. Add links, images and texts to the content with its drag and drop tool feature and create designs that match your campaign perfectly.

    Cons

    The csv file should be compatible to add contacts. It is easier to add one by one or download their file and add your contacts for an easier upload. If you have existing excel files with thousands of contacts, it may not work. Fixing your contacts file might take longer especially if you have thousands of subscribers.

    Pros

    iContact has very user-friendly editing features. It's simple to put together a marketing email that looks great, and gets results. The reporting features and custom export fields are great to help me track the information I need most.

    iContact has a very good drag and drop editor. Our assigned Strategic Advisor is very hands on, she always has suggestions and has boosted our open rate percentages.

    We've done quite well with iContact and have been very satisfied. It's easy to create emails. They give us everything we need without having to write code. Love it.

    User friendly... it's easy to maneuver. You can easily create a great look without a lot of time.

    Sometimes it's quirky and you have to figure out a plan B to get what you want.

    I do like this company. I've had NO bad experiences with them. I also use Constant Contact with my other company. Though they have a better user interface I think IContact has a more personalized experience.

    With respect to the type of visual emails I can send, I feel the possibilities are limited.

    It's probably the best. Mailchimp is just not as intuitive, and the help system there is skimpy

    This product is designed for people that like to do it themselves, but want help when they get stuck

    While not as intuitive as I might have hoped (and this could just be my way of thinking) I am continually impressed by the depth of the system. There is nothing that I have needed to do that the program doesn't do, and do well. It just may take me a little bit of time (not a long time) to figure out how to do it. 9/10

    I like the ease of setting up the email layouts. Adding new contacts is very easy also

    I never seem to be able to find my last email to use as a template. The way text sometimes moves around in text fields is very annoying. Half of my time is trying to fix floating text.

    Reports are easy to use. The formatting templates are also user friendly and produce great results. I like that you can now edit imported emails to check if they are good.

    Cons

    There are a few formatting issues such as the spacing and alignments. You cannot edit the email further in html. Would be nice if there was a way to find duplicates based on first and last name. If WE unsubscribe someone, I don't think it should be permanent. That makes sense to me if it's on the recipients side.

    Customer service can be angry. Only one did this but It only takes one to give a very negative vibe about your service.

    The look of your email is good. Setting up time for release is easy
