Users can segment their contacts, track customer interactions, send emails, run campaigns setting triggers for personalized communications based on email opens, clicks and more. No Time To Learn

Pros

I like the email campaign function. I have not been able to experience the other benefits yet.

Cons

I do not like the fact that I feel I am on a island when it comes to learning all the features the software has to offer. Yes you get a little one on one training but when that is done, you have to find the time to watch videos to teach yourself or pay a fee to get more help.

Pros

User Friendly

There is so much to love about this software. Most of all that the software makes my job easier and tracks things for me so I know where clients are at all times.

The software tracks a lot of information to be able to track clients and stages. Helps with keeping clients on campaigns and scheduling appointments.

Should be called Confusionsoft

Customer service tries very hard to be helpful

Pros

Can track things in a very deep way with tagging.

Cons

VERY EXPENSIVE! also, there is no way I can use this myself so in addition to the outrageous cost for the monthly fees, I have to pay others to do everything for me. As a result, I feel very disconnected from my data and can't make great decisions because they don't know what I need and I don't know what to ask them.

Also because you do very complex tracking, it is very cumbersome and confusing and difficult to use for basic funnels.

Infusionsoft email marketing

Pros

It has incredible power for certain industries and applications. Knowledge and consulting companies as well as service companies can create impressive customer centric automated communication interfaces. It's particularly well suited for building out applications that can be deployed across industries.

Cons

It's sufficiently complicated that most users need a strong development team or contractor to build it out and maintain it. The biggest problem we encountered was having the product change after investing in a massive build out. The changes required rebuilding the entire application to work with the new architecture. That's when we abandoned the product.

Serious kit for serious marketing

A very big suite of tools. Expect to need the time to invest in it or pay someone to do it for you. Customer support was poor.

Pros

The access to the tools on the platform are top notch. All kinds of reporting and automated systems.

Poor help and support.

Good for money, but need more explanation

I am using infusionsoft to build out drip campaign for lead generation. So far, it's been great, just getting used to everything is a big learning curve.

I like that there's a My Day section to review reports and duties for the day. It makes it easy to prioritize,

I don't like that the goals and campaign builder aren't explained as much. It's hard to understand what each tool is and how to use it, especially the tags

Great Experience So Far

Customer service is great! So far, we are happy with this product!

Pros

Versatility - it can be used for so many different reasons and have so much capability to the software.

Cons

There is not an app for Android. That is huge for my company. We all operate Androids and having to bookmark the site and go from there is a little tedious.

Infusionsoft Is a Great Tool for Many Businesses

There have been times that I wanted to throw in the towel - remember, I was a brand new business owner and really had no idea what I was doing!! I learned the hard way - by screwing up, then learning how to fix what was broken (hey - I still do this sometimes!!). I will say that it's been a game-changer for me and I'm still learning new things that benefit me AND my clients each and every day. Support is super-helpful and there is an entire community of terrific people who try new things and are very open to share what they learn!!

Pros

I have been using Infusionsoft for years. I love that I can setup an email campaign, load a form onto my site, and people who complete that form will drop into that campaign to receive my marketing. I love it even better that they will BUY from me because of these campaigns.

Cons

I didn't understand marketing, automation, integrations, sales, or business (and many other things) when I started with Infusionsoft. I was just starting my businesses and had no idea what I needed, but a couple of my clients had it, so I learned it for them, then got it for myself. I have internal processes setup for things I do on a regular basis and I have processes setup for things clients do on a regular basis. I love knowing that when "X" happens, "Y" will come next, followed by "Z".

I see the value but ...

Good, but not great. Decided not to continue past the initial year commitment purely because we do not have the man power to successfully implement and run the software seamlessly.

Pros

The customizability is a wonderful feature, especially if you're a business that doesn't typically fit into one of the easy business categories (finance, medical, engineer, etc.). Everything was super organized and you can tell the software is just excellently developed. Also, I could definitely see how helpful, "smart", and different from other CRM softwares Infusionsoft could be once you had everything set up and running smoothly.

Cons

Everything about Infusionsoft is COMPLETELY customizable; which is really great, but also then a lot of work. I'm from a very small company (less than 10 people) and for us, it was almost too customizable because of how much time and training was required. For a company that is larger, or has an entire IT department, it would probably be a wonderful option. For us, it ended up being a con because after the 5 week training program, multiple books purchased, and literally months spent devoted to the software, it still wasn't up and running like a well oiled machine. Yes, we could have put in more time, but since we are a small company without a designated department for IT, it was taking too much time away from other jobs and tasks. Also, it is much more expensive than a lot of other similar softwares on the market and at least when we signed up, you had to sign a year long contract.

Ehhh...

Pros

I like that there are features that you can duplicate to use again in other places on your site. I like how well it works with Memberium.

Cons

It's extremely difficult to operate. I realize this may be due to the cost being on the lower end, but it has taken me weeks to figure out features that I would like to be able to figure out in a matter of hours. Infusionsoft is not very intuitive.

Mediocre at best

Pros

Simple to use, drag and drop features. Drip campaigns work well. Integrates with WordPress

Cons

Customer support totally bombed before major conference sponsorship. We were able to capture no leads due to landing page fail. After a month a back and forth they still have no answer. In a recent email they closed they case because they said I had not responded within 2 business days. I sent them back my response and asked them to reopen and have heard nothing.

Database management is very limited. Updating often requires extensive work in excel to prep databases for uploading.

They cannot distinguish a record without a name from the same record with a name. This makes for a frustrating and time consuming experience in deduplicating lists.

I dread using Infusionsoft

I send a 2x weekly email broadcast as well as run a half dozen or so automated campaigns. The software is very challenging to use - rarely intuitive. It freezes and kicks me out while I'm working quite often - probably about 40% of the time I use it. They introduce new features sometimes, but in my experience, these new features are buggy and too risky to use. The new A/B test feature in particular has really screwed up my analytics. If my company decided to switch off of this software to a different one, I would celebrate.

Pros

Chat support is pretty quick to respond.

Cons

Usability and feature errors. Losing my work when it freezes or logs me out.

Infusionsoft? Confusionsoft? Awesome potential but not for the faint of heart.

This is a CRM developed by software engineers for software experts - not the average layperson. So if you are a soloproneur, steer clear. But if you are a business with the expertise in-house, this software offers significant upside.

Pros

A lot of features and upside with both a fairly deep CRM and robust email automation platform in one.

Cons

So many features and upside, it requires months to really master. It's also not always as intuitive as one would hope.

Best CRM for small business owners

Pros

I am a big fan of Infusionsoft. I've been using it for 5+ years now in the daily operations of the company I own. At the beginning I had just a handful of contacts and a sales funnel. Now Infusionsoft is the home to thousands of contacts, dozens of sales funnels, bunches of landing pages, product links, broadcast emails, sales reports, automated emails, and more. And I know we don't use every feature Infusionsoft offers.

Also, big deal: Their customer support is fantastic. Email, chat, phone: They've always solved our problems quickly and cordially. I highly recommend them.

Cons

Infusionsoft does have a steep learning curve. Back when I started they charged a separate fee to teach you the software; they may or may not do that anymore, but it definitely was a good idea. You need an expert to jump-start you.

The pricing isn't cheap. But I think it's reasonable. We've tried to jump ship from Infusionsoft to another CRM before, but the other CRM kept frustrating us with its lack of features or confusing interface. We returned home to Infusionsoft, and here we plan to stay.
