As your list grows, the monthly costs jump significantly, which can be a bit of a sting for scaling brands. - Last time I checked it was based on the number of subscribers we have and how many messages we can send. Once you have used it, you probably won’t want to use a competitor. #### Cons It took a bit of time to setup. There are a lot of aspects you must go through first. It’s not a “out of the box” product. But still, worth the while. #### Reasons for choosing Klaviyo I made the switch from MailChimp to Klaviyo after a trial basis of Klaviyo and finding there is more I was able to do and accomplish. However, I later reverted back to using MailChimp as I did not want the errors on my pages that Klaviyo provides, and I did not want to radically decrease the loads speed of pages for my customers. People lose interest quick while waiting for a page to load, page load speeds mean EVERYTHING! So the choice I had was less email features or lose customers. I chose less email features. #### Reasons for switching to Klaviyo I signed up to Klaviyo as a trial to experience another software other than my current software. So I had some sort of comparison, and to see if there were any additional features. It is an excellent solution for an IT related business such as ours where security and organization matter, but may not be worth the investment for smaller groups with minimal marketing needs. Their spam filtering is okay, and it gets rid of unnecessary spam in the inbox which is a pain for administrator's like myself. #### Cons It could become a lot of money for us as a smaller company as we don't utilise all the advanced features.
