LongShot's feature set has grown a LOT in the last year. And I like all of it. It might be a while before I consider tools like LongShot mission-critical, so I don't have a "like least" or "don't like" category. LongShot either does the job or makes the job easier about 80% of the time.

After this experience with the article about Gus Grissom (it was August 2021), I kept using it for a while, ditching it after not so long, since the content produced wasn't that great. I've read that the product improved a lot over time, but I can't confirm it.

In a short period, LongShot has grown tremendously. I'll get right to it and cover a few of their features that I believe are game-changers when it comes to AI content writers. The first is their Niche feature, which helps AI write better content for you based on your niche. It gives AI the context you're trying to convey to the AI. The Niche feature provides good results for me, so I'm pretty happy! Among other features that I think are crucial for AI, writers are the Fact Check and Claim Detection features. AI tends to write garbage every now and then. That's where these two features ensure the content is factually accurate to combat this issue. And finally, the Write more feature! Love it! An absolute beaut.

I don't have many complaints about this beautiful product. LongShot team can surely work on the UI/UX of their platform, but that's not really a big deal because the backend team is always bringing out updates at regular intervals.

Longshot does not allow you to do all of the things in the trial once you pay the annual fee, and you cannot get in touch with their customer service even after emailing them several times.

Product descriptions used to be a horrendous task for me, and Longshot makes it so easy now. Also, I no longer spend $$$ on hiring content writers, most of whom I'm not really satisfied with anyway. With Longshot, even with the editing I do to the generated blog posts, it still takes less time than ordering articles, reviewing articles, approving articles, etc., etc.

I use Longshot for product descriptions and blog posts. It's very easy to use - I can fill out a couple of boxes for a product description and it will generate 3 options, from which I either choose one or combine two or more to fill out the description. Very quick and easy. The blog posts make grammatical sense and are thorough and readable - very happy with the output. I do edit to add my own thoughts and do some edits if I feel it necessary, but it doesn't require much.

For some reason, I could never find my past blog posts. But once I figured it out, it was okay.

AI tools are improving everyday, so I can't actually give that kind of feedbacks right now. This is very user-friendly tool. If possible I would like to request the founders to reduce the price a little more.

My overall experience has been great. They have a good roadmap and the support helped me any time that I needed help. They are adding new features every now and then. It started with generating articles now they added a better outline, better keywords, a fact-checker, a marketing copy generator, a product copy generator and many more. I think the company is in their infancy but as time goes they are adding more and more features that keep on improving. Overall they are doing a good job, and just hope that it keeps getting better.

The thing that I like the most about the product is that I don't have to write about things that are tedious to write. For example, I'm writing a blog, and I need a definition of a term. Longshot really helps you with that. So whenever I am stuck or I want a quick paragraph to be generated. I write a command (eg. write a paragraph about the definition of hyperparameter tuning), and the AI-generated a pretty good copy. So it saves you a lot of time, allows you to focus on what is important in your article and can help you easily transform a 500 words piece into a 1000 word one. Pretty awesome. The quality of the text generated is more often than not very good too. They have been cases in which the generated text isn't good, so you will have to generate a few times to get it right.

One of the things that could be improved was the length of the content. I want to be able to generate full articles after I give a couple of instructions, outlines or paragraphs. That would take this software to the next level. As of now if you want to use this tool to extend your writing, then it is great. If you want to generate a full article from this tool, it's alright BUT expect to do a lot of editing. Additionally making the editor accessible from the get-go will be better instead of going through the 4 steps process to generate an article.

I got Longshot.ai when it was first launched as a lifetime deal. It was a great deal! I am highly impressed with the excellent content quality of long-from content. They've introduced many great features in the meantime, and the fact-checker tool is highly appreciated. They recently launched FactGPT, which can answer your question better than ChatGPT. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get their hands on a fantastic AI writing tool. This is a 10/10 tool for me.

This is a great tool and possibly the future of writing? Where the author is still a key and integral part of the composition. Compared to the other tools I have tried out on a trial basis, this seems the most well rounded option. Longshot was pretty easy to begin using as well, I had also attended a demo for the same on Linkedin hosted by the founder which was of great help. I work in the niche of art and a lot of the content we write needs to be the right mix of being an interesting read backed by the historical facts, accuracy, and context to create a compelling story. I tried a couple of tools like Rytr and a few other easily available AI writing tools that are still a Longshot away :)

Loved the unstuck me option that allows a new perspective when the content generated isn't to your liking. Their free plan also gives you a good idea of what the tool can achieve.

I think the Free trial needs more credits for people to truly explore the range of features this application has for different content needs.

Very positive. The team has been very open to suggestions and the customer support team have been very responsive to my enquiries. Getting started with the product takes no time at all. There are no configurations, or technical expertise required. It just works.

They have taken on feedback quickly, with updates being made the UI after I highlighted a small area for improvement.

As a content creator, I was looking to find a good tool to help me generate content ideas on an ongoing basis. Longshot AI has been a nice addition to my toolkit. It's easy to use and has helped me come up with some solid ideas at times when I've been looking for new topics. It also works well for long-form content generation, in terms of helping to generate ideas for how to structure content and/or potential angles by which to approach a topic. You still need to work out the content in an original way to add your own insights and experience, make sure the text flows properly, and put things in your own "voice." But as a tool for getting started or "unstuck," it's a great option.

Longshot mainly specializes in long-form blog content and idea generation. But it would be nice if there could be a few more tools added for shorter-form and more specific forms of content (e.g., YouTube video scripts descriptions, email copy).

Useful application with room for some improvement, particularly the tone and language output (British English). Easy to use.

We've tried Blog Wizard which provided very useful and relevant sub-headings. Drafts were produced quickly.

No option to choose standard British English and colloquial American English, which means we need to manually edit all output. The lack of Grammarly integration is much missed. Difficult to find previously produced articles on Longshot.

This software costs a little more than some others out there, however this one seems to be more polished with the results and has some features that others either don't have or don't do well like this one (especially the fact find feature). I write content for other companies but often don't have time for my own blogs so this is a massive help to me.

I love the whole platform but the features I love most are the extend feature and the fact check feature which saves countless hours of research and cross referencing.

One thing I wish they would have (I don't think any of the AI writing software has it yet) is to have images you can search for or that is recommended based on keywords to use so it saves time with searching.
