  • Pros

  • Also, they have pretty good ways to teach you about the fundamentals of the product. I've been using it for only a couple of weeks, but it seems well worth ​the money and useful.
  • The integration with Salesforce is very strong, it provides many opportunities for insight and reporting and it is very helpful in closing the gap between marketing and sales.
  • I love the ease of use and the organization Marketo uses, I also love how it is now integrated with so many Adobe services.
  • Cons

  • Their API is very weak and limited. Lack of integration options and lack of support.
  • Marketo has been frustrating to use after using other marketing automation tools on the market.
  • How can you put a future price increase in a one year contract. Only an idiot would sign this and when pointed out to their "customer service" people, they didn't get the issue.

  • Pros

  • We’ve been using sendgrid for more than 6 months now for our clients and we’ve seen amazing results with it. We’ve seen a conversion lift of somewhere between 10-12% which is great.
  • Reliable, excellent delivery rates, clean API - I like 'em. Have used for years including Pre-Twilio acquisition, and still good service.
  • Sendgrid has an awesome service for email marketing and transactional emails. It works 100% of the time, the support is amazing and it even gives you a free plan that will serve most people.
  • Cons

  • The contact calculation is confusing. Difficult to delete contacts, Extremely bad customer service experience.
  • Sometimes things fail and can take a while to get to the bottom of, some of the reporting feels lack lustre and limited given the volume of emails we send.
  • As a utility integration that the rest of our software depends on, this is wholly unacceptable. Imagine your product, and imagine that 1% of emails your product sends just randomly fail.
