You simply need to sift through the keywords that are easy to rank for to find topics to write about. From there they give you keywords to have included, target word counts, and grades on each article through an optimizer. When it launched, I subscribed (paid) and watched the tutorial video provided. Once I had the process down, I tried it for optimizing an old post. I plugged it into the optimizer and got an F. After enhancing my post with a SEO friendly title and “things Google wants you to talk about” topics and keywords, the optimizer gave me an A++. I felt pretty good but had no solid proof it helped. So, I plugged the keywords into a Pinterest pin and description and wow, more organic impressions! It's allowed me to reduce my content spend by half as I can create incredibly detailed outlines in minimal time. These outlines essentially provide a connect the dots framework for writers, which makes it easier for a brand new writer to provide excellent content for a fraction of the price. As a one-woman band, every dollar matters and RankIQ is allowing me to ramp up my content spend and get more bang for my buck, and help more people along the way. #### Cons The only thing I don't love is the inability to download the reports in a format I could easily share with writers. It's not a big deal as I copy paste to a spreadsheet to get the data I need in the order I need it. Rather than spending hours reading through the top posts to see what people (and google) are looking for, this tool just tells me. The content outline/drafting will go much faster, and I can’t wait to see how the content optimizer performs. I plan on testing it with old content that’s performed well and poorly, and then see how well the new content using its suggestions ranks.
