Overall I am very satisfied with Screaming Frog. From the day I started using Screaming Frog, I have been able to solve many more technical issues on my projects.

The best thing I like about screaming frog is its ease of use and speed. It gives a lot of technical SEO issues with all the details and their solution as well. Many of those issues other tools cannot detect, like HSTS security issues and more. For me, it's a must-have tool for a technical SEO audit.

Sometimes it does not reflect the changes even if the problem is solved on the website. Due to that, I had to re-run the tool multiple times. It happens frequently.

Screaming Frog gives end-to-end technical SEO suggestions and errors in One Dashboard. Errors like Crawl errors, internal link errors, broken links, meta characters length, alt attributes can able to fix with the help of Screaming Frog.

Its Good For Technical Seo but we have to look for another tool for Keyword Research, competitor analysis, and backlink. it would be great if they include other SEO tools

Although it surpasses its competitors in terms of the amount of information displayed, I don0t like having to start from scratch, or for it to crawl what it shouldn't - which puts you over the 500 url limit... even on a small site.

As far as I could see - there was no way to only crawl the links I provide. I could also not locate a way to save the progress to check on another day, meaning I have to start from scratch every time. This, however, wouldn't be an issue in the paid version as far as I can see

I needed to pull real-time crawls of extensive client sites. The free plan allows 500 URL's, which is a good start for small sites, but the Unlimited access from a paid plan is essential for any mid-size or enterprise sites. Easy data export into CSV for documentation or graphical manipulation. Super simple interface and navigation that isn't bloated with design complexity.

Some data fields could have include a better description of what they are pulling for values. A simple question-mark adjacent to the field would help, rather than having to hunt down documentation on their site. The user-interface hasn't been updated in ... well, ever. That could be improved, though I like the simple aesthetic, which I'm sure helps the application run quickly.

I have found the tools inside of Screaming Frog to be extremely powerful and easy to use in order to gain an understanding of my clients' websites. The crawls allow me to gain insight rather quickly to find weaknesses in a website so that I can address the problems and ultimately help my clients to improve their technical and on-site SEO issues.

I like how easy it is to get the comprehensive reporting done very quickly with clear action items to improve my website.

I would like more functionality and formal reporting that I can show to my client instead of having to create the reports myself from the crawls.

This provides a more effective and easy way to deal with performance-related issues the website might be experiencing. In addition to being very smart, it offers expanded customization settings that provide ease, convenience, and extra flexibility to configure the scrawl depth, ignore certain URLs, limit scrawl to just some specific sections on the website, and more. It's a great choice for website optimization and ultimately my number one recommendation.

The cost of getting a license can be very high, especially for small businesses with low or limited budgets. There is no direct support which could potentially be problematic in cases where the user needs urgent assistance. It still lacks some advanced functionalities compared to similar tools - but, it's not a great deal.

I use Screaming Frog for SEO but also use it for any number of miscellaneous content review tasks.

Being able to easily crawl a website and having everything handled for you with and obscene amount of customization options is incredible. It doesn't matter if you are a newbie of a pro, SF has you covered.

Overall, Screaming Frog helps me a lot in analyzing client websites and identifying top issues to solve. I can better understand a site's structure, SEO health, and usability status, which informs how I will approach a project to be the most successful.

I love that I can get a birds-eye view of a website's page structure. I can easily export the site pages into a spreadsheet for performance content inventories. I also love that the tool calls out the greatest issues, such as duplicate headings or meta descriptions and readability issues. This saves me a lot of time on client work.

I wish it was easier to crawl websites that are login-protected. I know this is something Screaming Frog can't control, but it would be nice to have slightly more informative help articles that walk us through what do in this scenario. I also find configuration of the tool difficult sometimes. I've had coworkers whose Screaming Frog stops crawling websites correctly, and we often have to troubleshoot for a while to figure out why.

The tool has provided great services to us for tracking all the backlinks, searching for new keywords, and conducting website and SEO audits. The tool is great as it installs within the computer unlike semrush or others.

It is very straightforward and provides great insights for backlinks, on-page SEOs and technical SEOs. Comes at a good price and offers great free features. Installs within the computer and gets you what you deserve.

Too many features gets the software a little complicated to start with. The learning curve is the only thing I would say is the dislike of the Screaming frog and its outdated UI.

Overall the tool is excellent, great value for a crawler than is very intuitive and will produce a starting point for any SEO strategy. No rival tool really compares for that price point. Any SEO should strongly consider a purchase.

Screaming frog is extremely simple to use. Simply provide the URL to begin crawling from and the software will provide a full report of issues the website may be facing from meta data to errant redirects. The layout is simple to follow and the language used to title issues is very accessible.

The software is not ideally suited to very large websites (like ecommerce sites for example), the bigger the website the slower the crawl setting needs to be to avoid errors or pages not crawled, but this can be very slow to produce a report.

It helps us a lot in SEO. Helping us to identify broken links, canonicals, meta descriptions and so on. A perfect tool with a simple job.

I think Screaming Frog is a most when it comes to SEO tools. I like that is easy to use, and you can crawl all the URLs of your website and the competition. Its free version works perfectly. Also, the customer support center is awesome

Screaming Frog SEO Spider has helped me quickly find all kinds of SEO issues on websites and when checking sitemaps. I also use it to crawl lists of backlink targets and other URL lists for various reasons. It is an indispensable SEO tool.

This tool has defined the SEO crawler space for me and many SEOs that I have worked with. Even so-called enterprise crawlers have a lot to learn from the number of and quality of reports. Whenever I look at other crawlers that can handle huge websites, I compare their reporting to Screaming Frog SEO spider.

What I like least is that it does use my local computer's resources and slows my other work. I am willing to deal with this on smaller and moderate projects that can be crawled in a day.

So, there is many things that i personaly like to use in screaming frog seo spider, one of then is finding broken URLs and Image Alt text, this is the only tool in my experience that shows CSS, JavaScript, ahref and every type of broken link in the website. Also we can extract the list of URL into excel that makes works more easy.

As such my bad experience with screaming frog seo spider is that the tool is not on cloud. I keed to install it's software in my system that makes work very hard, as sometimes while auditing the website system got hanged and due to which my audit skip, there many other problems that i am facing with the software.

Range of features - everything from canonicals to href lang. Relatively easy to use - the knowledge base online is great too! Ability to crawl development sites in the run up to a new website launch.

The tool looks a bit scary when you open it (not the most aesthetically pleasing) - but it's not an issue.

If you want advanced functionality and own websites with thousands of pages, you should get the paid version, which is an excellent value for the price.

Lots of features, always updated with changes in SEO landscape. You can use it for scraping, find hard to see technical issues, runs faster and can manage very efficiently resources in your machine when you are processing big websites (over a million urls).

Some help on the software itself could be useful (actually all support and tutorials are on its website), and some visualizations options can take too much time to load.

That you can crawl pretty fast your own but also competitor websites and get all the relevant on-site insights you need with just a few clicks. A short while ago they also added nice visualization features.

I really cannot say here anything negative, even if you reach out to them when you have a question they are super helpful. Maybe that it will take some time if you are new to the tool, to explore all the features they offer.

I like how everything is organized inside the Screaming Frog app including each of the tabbed areas.

I love the many features that Screaming Frog offers but I especially like the Tree Graphs under Visualisations where I can quickly show my supervisor a snapshot of all interlinked webpages.

I can connect accounts such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, PageSpeed insights and Google Search Console but when I close the app, then reopen it, I have a reconnect those accounts. Not a big deal and it's easy to reconnect but would love to see those accounts stay connected.

Although Screaming Frog SEO Spider looks dated when you open the interface, it works like a beast. Functionality that I didn't have in SEO Tools for Excel or other tools are here, so I've got what I need in all my tools with Screaming Frog in my toolkit.
