Pros/Cons
Pros
- The software has a great checklist to help you though setting up new SEO and the website audit is great for finding and fixing errors. I have the 3 day update version and this is fine for me.
- The interface is very friendly and easy to understand. I like the reports and charts, also nice graphics.
- Competitor Analysis Tool is Just Awesome, Able to Find all the Keywords of Competitors. Keyword Tracking is Accurate & Perfect.
Cons
- Difficult to compare competitor keyword analysis side by side. Would prefer the restriction on plans to be by website numbers, not by keyword numbers.
- Out of a set of 40 or so keywords, I usually find at least 5 or so that are more or less wrong.
- The interface consistently loads slowly for me when I open it for the first time in a day. This only bothers me when I actually sit and wait for data to show.
Pros
- It really helps with keywords and understanding how the site is doing and what could be improved. They also offer lots of help and give great newsletters on what to do.
- Very easy to use and set up, the best option for getting the big picture of where you stand in organic search results and how to keep optimizing. Great for planning your paid Google ads.
- The best thing I liked is Competitive analysis, It can provide you the best details compared to any other tools. Finding prospects for the backlinks is also best in class.
Cons
- I think the only problem we have had with this platform has been to use 100% of the tools it has, because it is very complete and has so many features that it is difficult to understand everything.
- I hate how, even after paying a lot of money each month, they require you to pay more see other domains. You also can’t see certain market reports which is just annoying.
- One example is a dead link on my site. Semrush tells me of its existence, but not exactly where it is so that I can fix it.
