Pros/Cons
Pros
- Luckily the online support team is VERY responsive when I need help. Plus all of the videos they have online are a great help when you don't want to constantly ask for help.
- I love how easy it is to customize our landing pages and then publish them. I also love the hashtag aggregator.
- We continued to use Shortstack throughout 2020 -- including a custom campaign (the Shortstack team was great to work with) -- and realized fantastic results each time.
Cons
- You also need to adjust the way you do billing it's terrible how people are automatically upgraded and expected to pay for it. Far to many emails that are useless and feel like spam.
- The widgets are sometimes a bit confusing to use.
- It was cutting off the submit button once someone uploaded images to their entry.
Pros
- I was using Mailchimp previously but I had the opportunity to switch over to Wishpond. Its new editor is a joy to use as it is super easy to get your landing page set up to start collecting leads.
- We also love how simple it is to export new contacts to our mailing system, integrate into our existing social media and website, and there are so many more awesome features.
- Whenever I'm thinking of an automation I want to do and I can't figure it out, I reach out to their support staff and they are eager to help.
Cons
- The platform itself is not well rounded, and is missing a critical features. Unable to set a campaign to be restricted by geographic location.
- I've spent two months fighting to get my money back via the dispute process with my credit card company. They lied and told my credit card company they disclosed a no refund policy.
- Horrible overall dealing with their customer service & billing issues.
