Textedly is a cloud-based SMS marketing tool for businesses of all sizes.

The system offers mass group texting, text scheduling and customizable auto replies. Users can send texts over 300 characters long. The system also offers a link-shrinking feature to minimize the number of characters taken up by hyperlinks.

Textedly automatically gathers city, state and zipcode information for each subscriber. Users can also access analytics such as subscriber timestamps, activity, user history and other performance metrics. Incoming messages are free, and there is no limit to the number of subscribers Textedly users may have.

Textedly is priced on a per-month subscription basis.

Pros

We are always on the move so we need something which can be easily accessible and flexible. Textedly suits best for instant messaging. It gives us feasibility to send a proper format message so that our customer/clients gets the whole knowledge in a single message, thanks to Textedly. Along with mass messaging, we can schedule it as well for later days.
Apart from all other functionality, Textedly has a great customer support, which adds more value to customer experience.

Cons

Satisfied with all the aspects, and so simple to operate, for the cons, there is nothing much but they can always bring something new, which solves the pain issues of email marketing, can have more options in "Filter". Other than that, Great Work Textedly Team!

Very easy to use. Remotely accessible through internet. Responsible results for text delivery. Scheduling feature is hats off.

Cons

Other than some minor issues like no sync with outlook might be annoying for some, it does what it is supposed to do very well.

Its very easy to use. i can send a text to 750 members at once. They can respond if need be.
They can text out of future messages if they want.

Cons

I can only end the groups i have. Some times i just want to send a text to a committee. Only can use 306 characters

The company is great to work with. The staff reached out to explain the process and help me get everything setup quickly. It's easy to export the data and run campaigns.

Cons

Fast, quick distribution and results. Easy usage. Great tutorial for getting subscribers. Customer service is perfect and engaged in getting the best results for my projects.

Cons

Not quite sure how to use the adworks to be the best of my opportunity. Getting my lists to upload was a time-consuming challenge. I suggest a co-tutorial for the first upload of any subscription list.

Pros

The ease of use is great. I really didn't have to train my staff, just added them as a user and they were able to use it without much help.

Cons

The character count of 160 limitation just because it doesn't take long to get to 160 before you have to use your extra texts.

Cons

That you don't have your own personal seven digit text number! It gets confusing if you have multiple friend that you have shared Textedly with.

We get to stay up to date with marketing methods and reach all of our customer basis right on their cell phones. I definitely believe this gives us additional business.

Pros

Lets face it, people check their phones more often then their emails and this software has allowed us to stay up to date with current methods of marketing.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve to using this software. At first we didn't know what to do but the customer service team helped us a lot. Great company to work with overall.

While set up is probably the most difficult thing about this software, it also taught me how the system works so that once my contacts were imported into the keywords and groups, everything else was a breeze. In fact it was so easy I at first was concerned I was doing something wrong LOL. But there are enough options that I am able to target my exact group of clients with specific keywords about their needs.

Cons

Just like any new software or platform one purchases, it takes a couple of days of study to grasp how the system works and how the numerous options to send messages are completed. It is not difficult to learn. Almost anyone with experienced with email marketing will easily catch on.

Simple interface. Clear display of primary data. Return of incoming text messages allows query of end users for voting, and/or data collection.
I'm using the service to target multiple groups of current members in our American Legion Post. In the post, we have Regular, Auxiliary, Riders and Sons that are involved in unique/different aspects of service to the community. Additionally we have a large group of regular Bingo attendees. Outreach to these members let's keeps them informed of updates in a simple to manage method.

Cons

Restrictive filtering needs work to allow finer detail of targeted subscribers. System allows filtering for simple text only, no 'or', 'and' or 'not' statements.

It's easy to schedule text messages to my employees and non-profit board members if something unexpected happens in the middle of an event or session.

I had one minor problem with a text not being received, but I think it was due to the person's carrier.

Ease of use is what I love the best. I have too much to do to learn something else. Textedly, I was able to figure out how to use it on my own. I still took a webinar and learned even more simply things that made my experience better.

Cons

Hmm, if you can call this a con, I thought it was free if you stayed on the minimum plan but that was only because I misread the info on intro 14 day free special. However, the plan is a great bargain.

I can easily text people without being kicked off.

Pros

I love how simple it is to work with. This is a very easy system to learn, and customer service is exceptional.

Cons

If I accidentally unsubscribe someone I can't put them in again. I need to have the person subscribe, which they might not do. I am trying to reach kids for college, so they may just ignore the prompt to resubscribe.
