TextMagic is a cloud-based bulk SMS service for small and midsize businesses that is able to send notifications, alerts, reminders and promotion messages via text messages. The web interface allows businesses to upload contact lists and send messages to customers, employees, stakeholders or even to general audience participating in promotional campaigns.

TextMagic offers an SMS gateway API to integrate with websites and add text messaging capabilities to daily workflows. A two-way chat messenger feature enables staff and employees to communicate via text messages. The solution is also able to convert emails into text messages and deliver them as SMS.

A mobile app for iOS and Android devices enables users to manage contacts and send messages from their smartphones.

TextMagic is priced based on the volume of text messages sent. Support is offered through live chat, phone and email along with an online knowledgebase and help articles.

Pros

Its pretty easy to manage your bulk text messages with their interface. It's even easier to use it with their API which is pretty easy to integrate into your own apps.

Cons

The price could be a little bit cheaper but it's honestly not that bad, the pay as you go is about $0.04 to start out with.

With TextMagic, I've had an amazing experience and still does.

Pros

The SMS scheduling features is something that I find really useful. It's automated features are also great when it comes to sending generic SMS. Delivery rate is really impressive. Fast and professional customer support. And best of all, the list management and group creation features.

Cons

Pricing is a little high for some locations (international). But I guess this is not under the control of TextMagic.

Overall, I have an outstanding experience with TextMagic. I highly recommend to anyone in any field, looking for a professional and user-friendly SMS solutions.

Pros

I love the fact that TextMagic offers the possibility to choose your phone number from any country available within their list or a dedicated Custom ID. For any phone number to which you will send an SMS, you may create a contact details, include additional information and add these contact to a group pf your choice. The delivery rate is pretty amazing. And the automated SMS options together with user-friendly API makes it a perfect solutions for small, medium and large businesses.

Cons

A suggestion would be to publish more promotional offers and offer discount for sending large amounts of SMS's.

Pros

The ability to configure opt-out messages quickly and easily

Cons

I liked everything for the most part. If I had to have an issue with it, I would say the install able version seems exactly the same as the web based version so there doesn't seem to be a point to using one over the other.

Pros

I love the free trial that they offer. The custom sender ID is an outstanding features. And the contact list management is the best of all: you can keep building your list while scheduling your outgoing messages. The automated functions are also a great plus.

It would be nice if the account could be suspended during the summer instead of incurring fees even when not in use.

A complete package for SMS marketing

It has made the SMS marketing service easy and handy for my organisation.

Pros

From sending timely notifications to conducting a mass promotion Textmagic is all you need for your SMS needs. It has a very user friendly interface that helps to push text messages to client, customer or employee on time everytime.

Cons

It requires a notification service that would inform about the failed deliveries which would further be helpful in eliminating those numbers while conducting another SMS blast

Great videos and ability to purchase a number in our business area.

Pros

As a manager, my team needs to have instant communication with our customers. This enables that.

Cons

Text to voice does not work except with landlines. This may not be fixable because of current technology.

Necessary & Unnecessary features

Not getting notifications that a message wasn't delivered is a detriment to Text Magic and my ability to do my job effectively. Our text message program with our customer base is pivotal to success within my company so it's vital to know if messages are reaching my customers.

Pros

Ease of setting up and using templates!!

Cons

Unnecessary feature - The email notifications that someone unsubscribed to your messages. If I get a text that says "STOP" from the person sending it, then I don't need an email telling me that they sent a message saying STOP. It's redundant & unnecessary.

Necessary/needed feature - You really need to develop an email notification when a text message is undelivered. I've sent several messages that were undelivered and I only discovered that they weren't delivered when I checked my history for a completely different message.
