TextMagic is a cloud-based bulk SMS service for small and midsize businesses that is able to send notifications, alerts, reminders and promotion messages via text messages. The web interface allows businesses to upload contact lists and send messages to customers, employees, stakeholders or even to general audience participating in promotional campaigns.

TextMagic offers an SMS gateway API to integrate with websites and add text messaging capabilities to daily workflows. A two-way chat messenger feature enables staff and employees to communicate via text messages. The solution is also able to convert emails into text messages and deliver them as SMS.

A mobile app for iOS and Android devices enables users to manage contacts and send messages from their smartphones.

TextMagic is priced based on the volume of text messages sent. Support is offered through live chat, phone and email along with an online knowledgebase and help articles.

I think the biggest advantage of this platform is its simplicity. It's easy to pick up as a user and communicate in a secure way across organizations.

Cons

I wish it had more functionality every once and a while but I don't have any significant issues with the platform.

Cons

It would be really nice if it were possible to receive pictures from contacts or receive a notification that a contact attempted to send a picture or file

We have used this software to send notifications via API to our clients every time they make a transaction in our services. Except for some sms that have not arrived, the software worked well. Although I can not deny that we are evaluating other services to verify if the problem is from TextMagic or the recipients.

Pros

This is a Sms sending service that works very well. It has several options of a lot of help such as the APIs, the possibility of sending an email that becomes an SMS, two-way SMS chat; in short, everything you may need.

Cons

I currently need to send messages to the Dominican Republic. The prices of the sms compared to other services can be a bit high. Additionally I have had problems to reach all operators, apparently it is a problem with the number portability of this country. In the US it has worked very well for me.

This product has saved me both time and money. And as we all know time is money, the reality is it has saved me money.

Pros

The best thing about TextMagic is its ease of use. Simply enter the phone number you wish to text and type out a message. Then the messages show up in a chat format making keeping in touch with clients a breeze. This has saved us hours of time on the phone. It is also nice to have preset forms to quickly enter saving even more time.

Cons

I guess one feature I wish it had was a desktop format we could just open without needing to keep an internet page open.

Pros

It is an intuitive solution, the interface is user friendly. It was easy to implement into our custom CRM. It is a cost effective solution because it is realiable and demand very little attention once it is set up.

I'm able to communicate with my customers when their special orders arrive without using my personal number.

Pros

It's easy to use and to pay for. I didn't have any issues setting it up or with it failing to work once that was done.

Cons

The notifications don't work for my desktop so I have to refresh the page to see new messages. Not a big deal but that's my only complaint.

Easy to contact customers as they don't always have time to answer phone calls.

Pros

You can create templates if you're sending the same message over and over. You get to see when the message has been delivered.

Cons

Would be nice if there was a pop up to tell you if someones number was incorrect. There is no spell check.

Easy way of sending out communications to certain suppliers with them knowing who exactly its from and also sending our details to customers

Pros

Very easy to use, impresses customers when they receive the text messages. Easy to store contacts and seperate into groups. Also really like being able to save templates to save time when sending similar texts to multiple contacts

Cons

It comes at a cost to setup a reply service where you can communicate with customers, would be great to be able to receive responses for free or within the credits

Before we had no system to send SMS messages and we didn't want to invest into purchasing an SMS system. Buying the service from external Company was what we were looking for and we got it via LetmeSMS. Now we get information from production related problems or even from our fire alarm system redusing possible downtime or accidents.

Pros

After initial setup, it is basically maintenance free. The automatic top up is great too to make sure you don't run out of funds. Complete History with message information and the monthly total of sent messages is great

Increases the number of people I can contact in less time.

Pros

I love how simple it is to import contacts and make lists for every category I need. I also love the ability to set up a text to be sent automatically on a day that you may not be in the office. The ability to make templates saves so much time too! Overall, I love this product and can't imagine one beating it.

Cons

The only thing I do not like is that it sends the texts in multiple text messages. I wish there was a way to increase the number of characters in one text. Sometimes when the receiver gets the message, it is out of order and can be hard to read.

It seemed easy enough and I was glad that I didn't have to invite people to sign up but things went south from there.

Cons

Couldn't upload numbers en masse, signed up for the free, that wasn't exactly free, and when I tried to pay for more, my cc was declined which isn't possible, so I think this may be a scam, but now they have my cc #, so I'll have to cancel it.
And now it seems I can't submit this review; guess only positive ones are accepted.
