truDigital Signage Software


 

truDigital Signage is a cloud-based digital signage solution designed to help with digital communications. It allows users to upload files, including videos and images, to the truDigital cloud. From there, users can add the files to any of their display screens.

truDigital Signage helps users manage files, organize content and manage multiple screens from a centralized dashboard. Users can also send content to individual locations or groups, and they can download reports.

truDigital Signage tracks ads and other content to monitor how they are played, so users can identify what content their audiences respond to more. The system also offers photo editing capabilities, file import/export options, search functionalities and a summarized view of users’ media assets on a single dashboard.

truDigital is targeted at small, midsize and large enterprises in a wide range of industries, including automotive, financial services, government, health care, retail and education.

The customer service support at Tru Digital is amazing. From sales to IT issues, we had someone hand hold us as we used the program.

Cons

Some of the templates need to be refreshed a bit. We ended up designing our own in order for the design quality to be higher. It would also be great to have a plugin for Canadian news.

I like that I can share playlists for multiple playlists. It is great that there is a ticker feature available and that all the colors we needed were also available. It is awesome that the copy option works so well. It makes it so I can just change one part of a slide to change the zip code for example and the rest of the template will remain as it was before.

Cons

It is a bummer that there aren't more integrations available (such as LinkedIn and other news sources and video news clips rather than pictures) and that the ticker isn't available for more templates.

From start to finish TruDigital has been great. We started out contacting for a demo and chose TruDigital as our digital signage vendor. Ordering the players and setting up our account was a breeze. Players are configured and already assigned to our account before they ship.

Customer support is great. Once you log into TruDigital's admin portal you can start a chat and work with support right away.

Cons

The only thing I could see that I would like to have changed is the ability to see and manage admin/users better. I had to submit a ticket to add additional admins. Once our environment gets larger I see this being an issue.

Enabled us to share more information with visitors at our exhibitions. Staff engagement and communication improvements across our three sites in the UK.

Pros

The digital signage devices are easy to use as is the design portal. There are some great templates already designed and it's easy to create your own as well. I needed some help when first designing some our bespoke templates and the customer service and support I received was second to none. Considering we're all the way across the Atlantic, I really can't praise truDigital enough for their service standards.

Cons

Nothing! It's hard to fault the software, device and service. The only area for improvement would be the remote control to navigate the menu when the device is plugged into a screen. It's quite small and can be a bit time consuming to click through the options.

The customer service has been superb. Customer representatives are always available when we need them within minutes. The ease of use from our end is also excellent.

Cons

The only thing we haven't been able to do is integrate with a specific RSS feed that would have automatically shown our event listings for the College of Music, but other than that we've been very happy!

Ability to relay information to staff.

Pros

Ability to update remotely/ability for customer service to log in and fix issues quickly. Recent customer service rep was polite, quick, and patient with my issue.

Cons

Screen formatting issues. Auto formatting for images on different screens would be nice. Ability to manage templates so I don't have 100's of them on my screen is important. I currently have to put them in a folder.

This software is easy to use, and the variety of templates suits our needs well. truDigital is currently working with us on an important calendar integration - I can't wait to see the result!

Cons

I am very happy with the software, but there are a few tweaks I would love to see like assigning templates to multiple playlists during template editing. The Slipstream function helps, but it's still a little clunky; I'd love to edit the scheduling without having to copy the job.
