Userfriendly tool to maintain your design system

Zeroheight has proven to be a valuable part of our design and development process. It functions as a design system, giving the ability to show all designs (complete pages, or molecules or atoms) to the business while at the same time serving as a reference for developers giving them the specs they need.

PROS

The tool is very user friendly and has great connectors to design software as Figma and Sketch, making is super easy to keep your designs up to date. Adding new pages is a breeze and the system automatically adds navigation. Developers were happy to make use of the design tokens functionality. The killer feature is the ability for developers to click on a design and see it's css specs, like colors, fonts, measurements, spacing etc.

CONS

Management of design files could be improved, it would be great if you could see which files are being used and which aren't to keep it tidy. The specs panel on the right should be collapsible for a better previewing of designs. Page layout could be a bit more flexible.

Best inb class

It's great, I can't think of any other competitor that delivers the same experience

PROS

Very polished, very streamlined, highly responsive customer support team

CONS

Could stand to use a bit more hands-on customization (such as more control over the overall spacing and padding, over color of specific elements and such)

Reason for choosing zeroheight

No other competitor comes close to this level of fidelity
