Reason for choosing MedicsPremier
The sales person was informative and always available for questions along with a system that is very user friendly. The software is very good, but I found the whole RCM package to be the best fit for us. The team we have in place is very professional, detail oriented and has done a terrific job of handling our billing needs and concerns.
Reasons for switching to MedicsPremier
Transparency. When we were using another company and software for billing, I was unable to view data or reports at my convenience. I had to wait for someone to send me a report and there was only one type of report they could provide.

Great Value and Functionality
We use Medics Premeir to manage outpatient radiology workflow.
PROSThe software is highly customizable to suit specific business and workflow needs.
CONSThe interface is not flashy, but it is very functional and that is actually preferred.

Costumer Service staff is great! but once they call to resolve an issue, most of the time they don't know how to resolve. Most of the time they have to get back to us.
That we don't have fill in different tabs on patient demos. Being able to print bills and letters and save them on pdf format.
CONScan't print the adequate reports for our practice. Not being able to fix our own custom forms. Huge cons is that we have to constantly making sure the insurance order is clicked otherwise the the hcfas wont print...among other things. No very happy with this new system.

Another loyal happy customer
I have been using MedicsPremier for over 10 years. I have experienced ease of use and extremely high functionality. I would choose the software if I had to do it all over again!!
PROSThe customer services is exceptional!! From sales to implementation and training the program and the support staff has been amazing. I have used many billing programs over the 25 years I've been in this business and MedicsPremier is extremely user friendly, easy to use and extremely efficient for productive work flow!
CONSI wish the statements / receipts I am able to print are more updated. They are very dated in appearance. However, they are easy to produce and understand by the client.

Ok for what we have but I feel it is limited with other software products.
PROSAt the beginning of our EMR transition the flow of scheduling to EMR software
CONSIs not compatible with other software for phone call reminders, downloading insurance eligiiblities by batch and not user friendly when trying to create new forms to add to patient file. Also, electronic signatures are not easy to use with patient at the check in desk.

At the time thought it the better product, but since that time have outgrown it and looking to integrate all in one with our existing medical software EMR EyeMD in the near future.

Medics Premier and Change Healthcare
Medics Premier has been one of the easiest systems to learn and program. I have been in the field for 30+ years and with the provided "help" function I have been able to learn the system easily. The best "help" function I have used.
PROSThis product is user friendly and easy to train new employees for the job duties they are going to perform. The pre-scrub of claims is very helpful letting us know what errors the claim may have and we can fix on the front end and send the claim out clean.
CONSI am still familiarizing myself with the reports that are in the system. In some cases I may have to run more than 1 report to gather all the data we are looking for.

Great Product
Medics Premier integrates well with our EHR software. There are many features that we utilize and many that we do not; it’s nice to know we have options though.
PROSThis software is user friendly and if we cannot figure something out, customer service responds quickly with a solution.
CONSI would like to see some improvement on customizable forms. We have made some requests in the past for certain forms to be created. While Medics was able to create something we could work with, it wasn’t exactly the outcome we had in mind. Our EHR software provides a word document that can be customized us and has been wonderful to use.

Honest Review
So far since getting Premier I will say the ease of scheduling and claims has become much simpler. i enjoy using this program daily.
PROSI love the ease of scheduling and sending out claims. Also the claims we receive this way being posted automatically makes my life much easier.
CONSSecondary claims that need to be sent to insurances for some reason never go automatically. I am not sure what exactly I am doing wrong or if that is just how it is. Most times the claims post with no issues on occasion I have 2 insurances that do not like to post automatically.

Overall good software
My overall impression is 85% positive and I would still recommend them to others.
PROSI love that the confirm phone texts go out the day before the appointment. We have it set to go out at 11 am and shortly after that the confirms and cancellations start coming in. It allows us the time to reschedule patients and to put patients in that are waiting for appointments.
CONSI definitely am not crazy about when calling for customer service and have to put in a ticket and wait for a call back. The wait time is too long. I also would like them to improve on printing a statement for a patient. I tell patients jokingly "just 9 easy steps to a receipt".

Support Service Must Be Improved
The software is ""lightning fast to perform on.
CONSCustomer Support is something that needs to be drastically improved. We pay $3000.00 for our support contract and most of the time we wait about 3 hours on average for someone to call us on each ticket created. Any support calls placed after 3pm EST are not being returned until the next business day.

Our Lab had an immediate need to find a better RCM Company that had experience in Toxicology Billing
The ADS Premier Medic's RCM system is 100% integrated to our LIS System. The data flows seamlessly from the LIS to ADS. Extensive training was provided by ADS. The system allows me to track all my claims and denials in one system without the need to go to a separate Clearing House Portal. Our Lab elected to use the ADS staff to perform ALL the billing and management tasks. I have full Access to Premier Medic's 24 by 7 utilizing a workstation or my I-Phone. The management reporting tools are extensive and our client services manager is just an e-mail or phone call away. ADS RCM has increased our revenue and decreased our open A/R extensively.
CONSThere was the need to complete additional paperwork after we left our previous billing service and went with ADS.

Overall a good medical billing software
Streamlining the work flow and getting claims done in a timely manner. Easy from a Medical billing office to connect with clients who utilize the system and get information that is needed.
