Founded in 1998, 4Medica Inc. offers cloud-based software for hospitals, physician groups, laboratories and care delivery organizations. Integrated Electronic Health Record (iEHR) is the company’s flagship product. It can be implemented in both ambulatory or inpatient settings.
With iEHR, physicians can access patient records, test results and medication information through a single screen. They can also exchange faxes and maintain an audit trail, which is updated regularly.
This solution is Meaningful Use compliant and CCHIT certified, and the company provides 24/7 customer support. iEHR can integrate with more than 100 different organizations to facilitate the exchange of health data. Users can also purchase a mobile add-on, which enables them to access information on an Apple, Blackberry or Android device.
To date, over 30,000 acute and ambulatory physicians have used this software to access more than 30 million patient records. In 2014, 4Medica EHR was ranked among the Top 50 EHR vendors by Medical Economics.

It needs continuous training for users to get used to its features. This results in extra expenses for staff training in use of the system

It has a very good feature of providing a cloud SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) clinical integration platform.A good concept to help healthcare organizations of diverse types create a seamless view of the patient care experience and drive EHR adoption. Good platform design to integrate with and build upon disparate systems to facilitate data exchange across various care settings to promote care continuity. The cloud computing model is scalable, lower cost, maintenance-free, easy to use, and deployable in a few months or less, eliminating large capital outlays or resource utilization. Very useful for especially critical for small community, hospitals.
Bit complex to understand. No any option to see if their is 24*7 support provided fo r this software or not.
