Acuitas activEHR 2.0 is an integrated hybrid electronic health record (EHR) solution that caters to midsize and large ophthalmology and optometry practices. The solution can either be deployed on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

The solution offers electronic medical records, billing software, scheduling, PACs, accounting software and billing services to the users. The solution offers various marketing and upselling features and it is also capable of customizable BI reporting and benefit tracking functionality. Providers can communicate with patients via SMS or email and patients can utilize an online web scheduler.

Acuitas activEHR 2.0 features frames data IDA (Immediate Data Access) that results in automatic updating of the frames. Additionally, the solution offers features such as a 3D lens viewer, centralized HO management and audit trails.

Support is offered via phone, email and on online customer support portal.

Previous EMRLogic user awaiting the final release of Acuitas. Demo was significantly impressive with communications platform and obvious drs insight into design.


Software that understands the future of communication and health care such that they have already written code for value based health care and reporting guidelines. Integrates with Innovations lab software. Support excellent. Multi dr/multi office compatible and very functional as well as easy integration with a verity of other software products.


Time frame to implementation. Slow process as fed rules change at a whim limiting more useful time spent improving charting efficiencies. However, a problem for all software manufacturer's in reality.
