Pros/Cons
Pros
- I like the brilliant features of Acuity Scheduling. Acuity Scheduling is amazing and reliable.
- Super easy to use for me and my clients. Everyone has been super impressed with how easy it is to use.
- There is also an API, with pretty good documentation. And my favourite part is that if you get stuck, the support team are friendly, responsive and more than happy to help.
Cons
- When a patient cancels, there is only one alert and completely disappears from the calendar without warning.
- I came very close to losing clients over their frustration in trying to figure out the startup process. One of the weakest points in this software is the fact that there is no "customer facing" help.
- Sometimes my clients wouldn't remember the time properly, or I would forget to write it down. Now the appointment times are clear, and there is no way for us to forget or get the timing confused.
Pros
- HENO has excellent customer support who are always available to help. Great software for our company and after a little practice, easy to use.
- She is awesome: great energy, insightful questions, responsive answers that are concise (not smoke), enthusiastic about her role and gave me real timelines.
- We have a great relationship with the core team, are getting better analytics than before with our previous EHR, and really like the integrated billing.
Cons
- It literally says "the only option is to stop using the software" and continue getting charged for it.
- I had received many faxes from physicians for that month but couldn't access them. HENO made me pay them to get away from this terrible company.
- I have been a therapist for 39 years and have been on paper charts. So to change this late in the game was scary.
