Advanced Health Management Systems (AHMS) Software


 

Advanced Health Management System (AHMS) is an integrated electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system designed for solo to midsized practices. It is ONC-ATCB certified and Meaningful Use, HIPAA and HCFA compliant, and can be deployed either on-premise or in the cloud.

Key features of AHMS include flexible scheduling, lab, clinical and RX interfaces, e-prescribing, electronic and manual insurance billing, intra-office messaging and comprehensive patient demographics.

This solution can provide detailed reports, and enables users to complete manual and electronic insurance processing. AHMS also has an auto complete feature, which allows physicians to scroll through and complete previously made entries as they type notes.

If initial charges are unaffordable for clients, they can opt for a flexible payment schedule. Practices can get started with AHMS by paying an initital setup fee, along with recurring monthly charges.

The product is very easy to use, very simple with no difficulty term to understand. Product simplicity at its best.
Customer support is also awesome.

Cons

Pros

Automated workflow is helpful, as well as the ability to save templates for emails, statuses of each item, collaboration among teams

Cons

A lot of redundancy. You have to do so many tasks over and over again when it could be easier to just have to do it once. Some info doesn't transfer from one area to the other
