Software is user friendly. I appreciate the value of Athena gets paid based on revenue.

Mobile app is easy install and it's nice to have pictures of my providers.

Running reports if difficult, not a lot of report options. Authorizations are difficult to track.

What I like the most about athenaOne is the vast amount of information that can be shared. There isn't much that it can't be used for when it comes to patient care.

I loved how easy it was to document patient visits. It was also very quick and efficient.

Ease of use good but especially like the ability to customize to make this “ mine.

Allows for different styles and helps MIPS compliance. Have seen an increase in revenue.

The portal is easy to use and implement (users simply configure a browser, login). Their help desk is pretty decent.

Billing is easy from a practitioner standpoint. It also is starting to integrate with other EMRs so occasionally we can pull labs and imaging from other participating systems.

These days, the technology we use and share is so important. Not everyone is health literate, but this helps make it easier.

I am hard pressed to find a negative that would dissuade me from purchasing athena all over again.

Integration to system provided by Athena folks that did not know the system. Athena has very little under standing of PT/OT and no  understanding of WC billing in PA.

I love the ability to customize my reports, letters and templates. I love the photo capture.

The layout of this software is terrible. Very confusing and it takes a lot of clicking to access any part of the patient’s chart.

The tickler system for follow up visits are subject to user errors and need constant review.

This software is sleek and beautiful. It has great ease of use for patients and myself and the office.

NO ONE told us and this document languished in some digital box. If we were a hundred person organization, I could pay someone to sit and manage the 20 or so boxes where they put communication.

The templates and text shortcuts were probably the best part of this software. The ability to add drop down menus and text boxes to your text shortcuts was extremely helpful for creating templates.

We are able to schedule and confirm patients quickly, have easy access to all patient visits and payment ledgers, and the reports are awesome. Overall we are very happy with DuxWare in our office.

Administrators can give employees access to what is needed and if an employee is terminated, you can immediately deny them access to the system. I can't say enough about the system or the staff.

The ability to get around quickly and the ease of the applications.

For the most part there are ever any issues. There is this one kink when making an appointment that is annoying but manageable.

Whenever necessary, I can always get someone on the phone who is friendly and willing to address my concern.

From day one it is easy to train staff that has no experience with software. The customer support is far superior to any other in industry.

Good system, but would like to be able to have a good tracking system on all outstanding payor claims.

I've never had an issue arise that hasn't been quickly resolved, although, it's a rarity to have issues. The transition to ICD-10 I thought was going to be a problem and it was smooth without flaws.

DuxWare is a cloud-based practice management solution built for healthcare providers. This solution allows medical practices to track/manage patient information, file claims electronically, manage appointments for multiple providers, plus more. DuxWare integrates with existing EMR/EHR systems. 


DuxWare allows users to add images, such as government identification cards, to patient profile information.
