Pros/Cons
Pros
- On top of all of the capabilities of this software and the awesome interface, Carestream also has additional devices that are a must have for the software that can make your practice so much better.
- The ease of use and the fact that their technical support team is hands down, one of the best, if not the best help I've had. Very patient with me or any other team member that has to call them.
- Cs Softdent has been a great, friendly experience in more ways than one. I got the opportunity to join the Carestream family in Texas at the Natural summit in 2019.
Cons
- Horrible customer service, Completely dishonest (still states that there program integrates with Dexis) while it does not. Use any other dental software program except SoftDent.
- Softdent has horrible error checking, uses a weird proprietary database back end that does not work at all.
- The lack of included features makes CS SoftDent inferior to other dental software that I have experience with.
Pros
- I feel Theraoffice has been very fair when it comes to pricing. Lastly, all staff at Theraoffice have been professional and follow-up has been excellent.
- TheraOffice team is dedicated to helping you maintain your brand while providing a superior product.
- The best benefit from my perspective is that it is industry specific.
Cons
- Inability to have a patient be on the waitlist in more than one location. When adding a new appointment into the schedule, inability to start typing patient name and having the system auto-populate.
- This did upset me however we had already signed a contract. To be honest had I known some of the features that are additional charges I would have gone in a different direction then Theraoffice.
- 10 To Generate an HEP you shouldn't have to have a DX or charges entered.
