Pros/Cons
Pros
- Implementing Cerner has been nothing but a positive experience and we have continued to find ways to improve our program to benefit each department within our clinic.
- I like how easy it is to navigate through the EMR. I have used tons of EMRs but this one has been my favorite.
- Overall, i have had a pleasant experience with this software, it is definitely user friendly and provides healthcare workers a variety of tools that make charting much easier.
Cons
- I dislike that sometimes errors can pop up on the screen when they aren't supposed to and at my institution, the application can crash frequently.
- Amazingly poor UX/UI layout, and often confusing. The customer services has been all along a nightmare.
- It is clunky, and a bit disconnected especially between departments which leaves communication gaps which can be dangerous in the hospital situation.
Pros
- Ease of use (email link) and great video quality. The tools are very useful for exercise prescription and allow me to provide clients with something tangible to take away from the appointment.
- Very pleased with the product and have recommended to many of my colleagues. All of my team are now using COVIU and have positive experiences as well.
- The ease of use and the flexibility of what to use it on and how is just brilliant. No need to download anything for clients.
Cons
- An occasional problem occurs with connectivity but i think that is due to problems with faulty or unstable internet connections.
- Some connection problems occasionally but more likely due to poor internet in remote regions than due to the application itself.
- I sometimes have connection problems but I think that is my internet connection not the software.
