  • Pros

  • Charm is a user friendly, patient friendly, online EMR system. It has many different features that help to automate many tedious tasks and help take the burden off of smaller clinics/teams.
  • I heard from a colleague that Charm had fabulous customer support and that is what made me give it a try. I absolutely can say that I have gotten excellent customer support from Charm.
  • Charm has been a wonderful addition to my practice. I use only the medical records portion of it because I am happy with the practice management software that I currently use.
  • Cons

  • There have been problems with sending eprescriptions - The software can not locate the particular medication and you must know the generic as well as the trade name on occasion to get it through.
  • Minor problem exists with entering patient email addresses. Software sometimes flags as invalid email address with anything that ends in.
  • Net then got back and re-enter the correct email address. Customer service has yet to fix this problem.

  • I like eCW better than EMR systems I’ve worked with, and I like how it’s easy to learn. Each provider has customized it to how they like it, and it has made it easy to switch from other systems.
  • We have been very happy with the overall functionality of this software as well as the excellent customer service.
  • It is amazing and reliable and all of our 50+ doctors were happy with it. Our change to eCW was made by our executive office and not by physicians choice.
  • Cons

  • People for Eclinical keep ignoring the issue and they cannot figure it out the problem and they start blaming your computer.I brought 3 different IT and all said problem is with ECLINICAL.
  • Constantly breaking and I am tasked with submitting repair tickets. Dishonest date reporting resulting in severe fines from CMS to ECW.
  • Freezes and have to log out and log in multiple times a day. Ipad and Iphone version is terrible and you cannot do work - it's just a rudimentary emergency system.
