Pros/Cons
Pros
- Charm is a user friendly, patient friendly, online EMR system. It has many different features that help to automate many tedious tasks and help take the burden off of smaller clinics/teams.
- I heard from a colleague that Charm had fabulous customer support and that is what made me give it a try. I absolutely can say that I have gotten excellent customer support from Charm.
- Charm has been a wonderful addition to my practice. I use only the medical records portion of it because I am happy with the practice management software that I currently use.
Cons
- There have been problems with sending eprescriptions - The software can not locate the particular medication and you must know the generic as well as the trade name on occasion to get it through.
- Minor problem exists with entering patient email addresses. Software sometimes flags as invalid email address with anything that ends in.
- Net then got back and re-enter the correct email address. Customer service has yet to fix this problem.
Pros
- I also love how fast and effective the customer support is. they are always very positive and helpful and patient.
- My overall experience with TherapyNotes has been great. They have done an amazing job creating this software.
- Integrated billing with easy set-up, easy to use, great customer support, affordable pricing, decent clinical forms, generates good reports.
Cons
- The bad: They consistently refuse to provide the simplest of features requested by their users. I am intentionally using the word "refuse" because it is clearly a choice made by TN.
- If you have a problem, they spend hours blaming you. When that’s not the problem, they escalate and/or refer to the “development team.
- In February, when I was warned of a charge pending for lack of compliance, I called Therapy Notes. They then told me it WAS required.
