Chartpath is a lifesaver!
Chartpath has enabled us to chart specifically to the LTC, SNF, ALF communities. There is not alot of useless data to sift through. It is clear, concise, has what is needed, and if it isn't there or needs to be taken out, our Guru's are quick to respond and fix the situation.
PROSI love the ease of use for the nurse practitioners and getting them up and going in Chartpath. It is concise in documentation with CC, HPI, Medical Problems, Allergies, Medications, FH, SH, and Assessment and plan section. Problems can be added or resolved at a click of a button, keeping the data current. The ability to pull forward information that will never change saves time, such as admission history, allergies, social and family history, especially in the LTC population. Chartpath is very transparent for our providers, they can access thier daily numbers and a trackers keeps track of thier RVU's as soon as the coders bill them. They can look at all of thier coding and how it coded so if problems arise it can be reviewed by me and resubmitted if necessary. Chartpath is easy to share in Zoom so charting with a new provider is easy. [sensitive content hidden] is our Guru who tweeks our program for us as we find differnt things we want to add or delete from the program. I love that the team is small and when we call, they are there immedicately for assistance or at most in a couple hours. This is the best charting software I have ever used. I would highly recommend it.
CONSOf course, the new CMS rules came out in January and the use of a prolonged service code is now an option. We are trying to get a box to check that will open a text box so the provider can validate why the prolonged service code is valid and what was done that required extra time. I don't like that I cannot see a person's schedule all at once (like a calendar) so I can immedicately tell how many days they worked in a month, or what days they took off without looking at each persons notes per day report and counting each day. Having a calendar option to see immediately everyones schedule and days worked would lessen my burden.

Great Fit and Excellent Customer Care
We have had incredible service and we love working with the ChartPath team.
PROSClinicians love this software and ease of use is critical to great documentation. ChartPath also provides excellent customer service both in support and on the technical side. I feel like a priority customer every time I have a need. I also feel like their team, especially [sensitive content hidden], understands what we do on a daily basis and like I have someone translating our needs to the development team or handling things in real time when we need it.
CONSMy only complaint is that we were sold this product as a complete solution for our business, but the software isn't compatible for billing needs. We have been told numerous times since deployment that the software isn't used as the "source of truth" for insurance by any other customers. We have found this to be a difficult issue in building our interface with our billing company and in storing, entering insurance data and transferring it. There have been many improvements since we went live October 2021, but we continue to wish the system really was a one stop shop for our business! The only other issue we have is with the integration fee. We were sold on this product as being able to integrate with Point Click Care and then sold it to our customers with integration as a key element, but now we are paying the PCC fee at $100 a month per integrated facility. We've tried to pass on the cost to the facilities with zero luck and are currently either stuck paying for it ourselves or denying this integration service entirely. This fee needs to go away or be billed directly to facilities when they sign up for the integration service, rather than passing through us as the ChartPath customer.

Chartpath Review
Our chartpath implementation has been great. We are more compliant with documentation, and orientation with new providers is straightforward and easy. Lastly, customer support is always responsive, which is key to ensuring we practice smoothly.
