One of the standout aspects of our experience with CheckinAsyst has been the exceptional customer support we've received. Our dedicated Customer Success Manager has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He has been highly responsive to our needs and concerns, and his recent onsite visit to our practice has been extremely helpful in ensuring we're making the most of the software's capabilities.

Great software to help streamline workflows and minimize workloads
Overall my experience with CheckinAsyst has been exceptionally pleasant. It really has made our workflows so much easier. It has cut down on paper usage, time spent scanning documents into the charts, time spent manually entering data into encounter notes, patient wait time, and the list goes on. If you are just even a tiny bit considering CheckinAsyst, I say go for it! You will be pleased with the outcome!
PROSThe most impactful feature of CheckinAsyst is the automatic import of patient data to the EHR system. CheckinAsyst is easy to use. In the beginning there was some push back from staff and patients because no one likes change. Once the staff and patients began using the software they all talked about how much easier it made the check-in process and now it is just the "normal routine". The support team has been exceptional throughout the entire time of using CheckinAsyst. The implementation team was amazing to work with during the form building process and implementation. I had a TON of specific requests and they worked to meet all of them. Anytime I had a request that maybe the system couldn't perform, the implementation team would brainstorm ideas of how they could build a work around that would meet our needs. They put in a lot of work building our specific needs and never once tried to steer us in an "easier" way on their end. I truly appreciated all of their time and effort on implementation.
CONSI can't think of too many Cons to this software mostly because the Pros outweigh the Cons. There is always going to be "hiccups" in any software, and there has been a few here and there with CheckinAsyst but never anything majorly significant. I would say the only "Con" would be that we don't fully utilize all that CheckinAsyst has to offer due to expense. There are some features that we opted out of because it can get a little pricey.
Reason for choosing CheckinAsyst
We chose CheckinAsyst because of the larger amount of data capture that imported to our EHR system. Alternative products were unable to map some specific "medcin findings" that we needed for our annual UDS reporting. Our health center uses Greenway- Intergy EHR

Health Asyst through the pandemic
Health Asyst is very user friendly, its easy to navigate & its a very easy system to learn. Reports are very useful and easy to decipher. Health Asyst was able to add COVID questions for each and every appointment, which transfers into a PDF that our office uses to send back with the patient at the time of their visit for MA's and medical staff to review as well. Eligibility has been a great transition especially with Medicaid Managed Care, the clearinghouse has been able to verify all of the new policies. Patient are able to take pictures of their insurance cards and provide us with updated information prior to their appointments. The newest feature being able to accept past due balances from patient that do not have a scheduled appointment has also been a great addition.
CONSThe time that it takes to update, if a patients added onto the schedule and you search Health Asyst it can usually take a few minuets before the appointment populates over. Also when changing appointment types from in office to telehealth the patient will not receive links to the providers virtual waiting room the information has to be manually sent and the change of appointment types is not in real time. Because we are still in pandemic mode we are still scheduling virtual appointments, once the patient completes their registration forms if their within a hour of their appointment they can check in, or they just have to remember to log into the waiting room at the time of their appointment. It would be helpful if the patient could receive a reminder 15 min or 30 min prior to their appointment to let them know their appointment will start shortly

Thank you for your review, Shanika. It's good to hear that our platform has been useful for your practice, especially during COVID-19. The time for populating appointments was higher for a brief period due to the changes made by the EHR for API calls. We have worked with the EHR on this, and now appointments are populated every 10 minutes. Also, apart from the appointment reminder, a courtesy messages can be sent at any time to notify patients about their upcoming appointments. HealthAsyst Review- Treasure Coast Community Health
It has been a good experience. Especially when it comes to the issues we have had with the system and the responsiveness of the customer service staff. They listen to our problems and try to find a solution as quick as possible. Some of the issues that I have mentioned above have been relayed to their staff and it is planned to be resolved in upcoming versions.
PROSThe ability to have our patient's fill out paperwork easily from their phones or computers gives us an opportunity to collect more information from the patient without the worry of them taking to long in the lobby. The system also automatically checks insurances and their eligibility, which gives us an electronic eye on this.
CONSCertain features seem a little outdated. Such as filters. Or payment plans. They need to be updated to allow users to better plan how the patient's can create payment plans and for how much. Usage of the app on the tablet is also very outdated. It needs to properly be formatted so that it works properly for every patient.
Reason for choosing CheckinAsyst
The price was the most accommodating to our budget. And the features seemed the easiest to maneuver for our staff.

I highly recommend this Solution
HealthAsyst has been great from a customizable standpoint. They have been really open to hearing new ideas and areas needing improved and have been responsive to implementing in upgrades.
PROSWe are currently integrated with CheckinAsyst by HealthAsyst. We have had it for a couple years now and it’s been great for us. The clinical findings from questionnaires/assessments can transfer to the EMR and the Providers absolutely love it.
CONSThe implementation of an electronic solution was very difficult. I don't believe this was related to checkinasyst, but rather any time you are moving from a paper based process, it takes a lot of time.
Reason for choosing CheckinAsyst
The ability to import discrete clinical data into the EMR along with a 5 year price comparison.
