ChiroFusion is a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) solution designed for chiropractors to help them manage key clinical activities such as scheduling, reporting and billing.

ChiroFusion EHR offers integrated practice management features that allow practitioners to schedule and manage patient appointments, send appointment reminders to both doctors and patients, create reports and bill patients for medical services. Appointments can be booked, confirmed, rescheduled or canceled via an email or text message, allowing clinics to track daily bookings, no-shows and cancellations.

ChiroFusion allows clinics to create SOAP compliant notes, submit claims to insurance companies and process payments electronically. Medical documents and clinical records are automatically backed up in an online repository in real time. A self-service portal allows patients to check in using an iPad or tablet, submit their medical history, access prescriptions, pay bills and more.

It is available for a monthly subscription and support is offered via online webinars, phone and email.

    Even with the Cons I mentioned above, this is by far the best software I have worked with to date. I have several years of experience with Medent, Future health, and Chirotouch and there is really no comparison. This software is better in every way.

    Pros

    Easy to document, schedule and bill. Very user friendly with great support staff. Also the price is lower than any comparable software and it is much easier to setup and work with.

    Cons

    I would like to see more options to edit the lists in the note-taking part of the software. Many of the lists are missing key items or have lots of extraneous items and there is currently no way to edit them. It is functional, but there is significant room for optimization on an individual basis. As writing notes is 90% of what we do with out time other than treating patients, any additional streamlining options are valuable as the overall time saved would be significant. Also adding free-form boxes where you can manually input atypical information would be great. Some exist, but not most.

    I've been using ChiroFusion for a few months. I think they have a great platform, and can improve upon it even further. I would recommend this more to a smaller, one-two doc practice, and in fact I just did, but it becomes pretty expensive when you have multiple practitioners that are all part time. I think they should have a max price per practice if you have more than say 3 practitioners. I really look forward to them hopefully implementing some feature requests that I suggested.

    Pros

    Easy to use. Easy to learn (at least for doctors), a bit more difficult for front office (billing, etc)
    Web based, no need to store info in your computer. Access anywhere.
    Quick response from support team when you have questions.
    Built in credit card plug in. Ability to do recurring charges for plans if that's what you do.

    Cons

    -Inability to add/edit things you want, such as, adding an ortho exam if they don't have it.
    -Lack of feature request implementation: if you want something added to it, not likely going to happen.
    -Expensive when you have multiple doctors. If you have a doc in your practice coming in 1 or 2xweek, you still have to pay the full price to be able to bill under them.
    -Apparently, inability to export all your patients data (med history) with a click of a button if you want to leave. You have to click on each pt and export data individually. Imagine if you have 2K+ patients, exporting one by one!
    -Only good for chiros, no acupuncture built in format. (though you can type your own and paste into forms)
    -No built in PI report format.
    -No built in addendum format.

    Great Experience With ChiroFusion

    I am a new user to ChiroFusion and am very happy with my experience so far. I have used several other programs in the past, and this one is the easiest to use. The live training was extremely helpful to get started. I appreciate that the clearinghouse is integrated into the software to provide a seamless experience for claim submission and tracking.

    Pros

    This software is very user friendly compared to other softwares I have used. Software setup and Customer service has been very helpful. I like that the claims clearinghouse is integrated into the software for submitting and tracking claims.

    Cons

    Only able to run limited types of reports. Software doesn't track amounts of inventory items, such as supplements and pillows.

    The look of the overall program is good.

    Cons

    Slow, slow, slow, slow, slow. We have 200MB service and it has to think for several seconds for every keystroke. Sometimes it even stops working all together. Really pathetic.
    Confusing steps to get things done quickly.
    Should autosave. Having to press save or all your work just disappears is asinine.
    No way to customize most of the drop down menus.
    The approved charges and signing notes procedures are totally unnecessary and should be streamlined.

    So far I have no problems with ChiroFusion. I would actually recommended to recent graduates especially.

    I loved the practicality ChiroFusion is able to offer. Having ChiroTouch my year of practice I could not deal with how cumbersome it was to use.

    The cost up for text reminders were the only thing thus far.

    That everything is functional and easy to use. The agent who did the over the phone training was AMAZING!

    Cons

    Codes are not in system have to enter most of it manually. When you call to get minor help right after buying ChiroFusion they inform you that there is nothing they can do because we don't have tech support.

    I like that it makes documentation and scheduling much easier to stay on top of and organized. I like how integrated the program can be with the feature to add diagnostic imaging and send text/email reminders.

    I would like to see a pain diagram implemented into the software to better show muscular pain and trigger points.

    The ease of email and text reminders is a huge time saver! The program is so chiro friendly compared to most EHR's. The main schedule and SOAP pages are clean and easy to use quickly.

    Cons

    Setup in the beginning takes a little time but once it is up and macros are in, insurance is set up etc....it is great! I think this is similar with most EHR's as far as more time needed on the front end.

We also offer a comprehensive new user manual that is broken down by chapter/section with full walk thru steps & short videos. This is our most up to date offering and is updated as each feature launches. We do review all of this during training. We're quite proud to offer a full practice management software for only $99/month. With this we also provide clients with email reminders, a self check in experience for patients, a fully integrated clearinghouse solution to transmit unlimited electronic claims and auto-post payments. At a nominal $49/month clients can add live-two way texting, and we also offer patient online intakes at the same great price point.     Pros: I love that it is specific to chiropractors. It is quite detailed but does not take a lot of time to chart notes (apart from the initial exam).
    Cons: I do not like the way insurance is entered into the system. It can get very frustrating entering the insurance companies and it does not save your information as you go along. I have had to enter insurance information, patient information more than once. It can be very frustrating and time consuming.

    ntering insurance information. I understand it is linked with Office Ally but I was using Practice Fusion prior to this and their method was so easy and seamless. This however, is not.

    The program seems pretty user friendly in regards to the note taking system and being able to complete the notes pretty quickly. The default settings and options make it quick and easy. The online videos are helpful and explain how to perform basic tasks step by step which is nice rather than having to wait for a response from the support staff.

    Cons

    Billing seems to be somewhat tedious. Although I have not completed the training modules yet, some of the data has to be repeatedly entered in

    I've just started using it. Overall it appears to be a nice program. There are some issues thought.

    An electronic EHR from paper. Ease of use for what is there. Bring able to track patient records, files and billing. Bring able to access it anywhere. Overall I think it's better than many programs out there but it is close to being a very nice program.

    Pros

    The ease of using the billing and electronic claim submission. The patient dashboard is nice. The initial exam is fairly thorough and easy to go through.

    Cons

    I don't like the font size and how spread out the patient note is. I would like a soap note to be on one page when printed out. A new patient exam should fit on 1 to 1.5 pages. All the info included on an exam can fit on it. I don't like the extra explanation of every Ortho exam. Takes up too much space and causes extra pages for printing. Changing a CPT or diagnosis code is not an easy process in case you made a mistake and need to change it. Having to go back into the note to change a charge, then back to billing in a pain. The patient search function on the main page pops up the patient, but you cannot access that patient from the basic search. I need to enter a blank search to bring up the advanced search to get a patient up. A patient master list would be a nice option. I have an additional provider at my clinic and the additional fee was not advertised when I signed up, That is misleading when you say you can add as many users as needed, not mentioning additional fees for additional providers. I would like to be able to click on a patient on the schedule and open their note/info. A optional USB card scanner for credit card auto integration would be nice.
