ChiroFusion is a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) solution designed for chiropractors to help them manage key clinical activities such as scheduling, reporting and billing.

ChiroFusion EHR offers integrated practice management features that allow practitioners to schedule and manage patient appointments, send appointment reminders to both doctors and patients, create reports and bill patients for medical services. Appointments can be booked, confirmed, rescheduled or canceled via an email or text message, allowing clinics to track daily bookings, no-shows and cancellations.

ChiroFusion allows clinics to create SOAP compliant notes, submit claims to insurance companies and process payments electronically. Medical documents and clinical records are automatically backed up in an online repository in real time. A self-service portal allows patients to check in using an iPad or tablet, submit their medical history, access prescriptions, pay bills and more.

It is available for a monthly subscription and support is offered via online webinars, phone and email.

Love the interface and the processing of everything.

In the beginning the tech support was amazing.

Cons

Too slow
Really slow. Pulling up the billing tab takes about 2 minutes. This isn't my internet because anywhere I go it's soooooo slow. I've wasted hours waiting for pages to load. When it does it kicks me out and I need to relogin and start over.
Intake forms don't integrate fully.
Nothing is included for the price (text reminders, intake forms, support, POS)
For a package of a month, I don't even get support.
I realized for about 100 less a month I can get way more features and free tech support. Definitely, don't want to switch since I love the interface but ChiroFusion is expensive and slow.
Wished there was a better way to keep track of specific adjustments. (membership discount, family etc.)

This software is a good purchase and reasonable price for a chiropractic clinic.

Pros

It is Not two separate programs for billing and documentation. The customer service is outstanding. The program is easy to use. They do take advice so I expect that the cons I have now will disappear in the future.

Cons

I have to type in differential diagnoses and there are not many options for long-term and short-term goals so I have to type these in if I want to be more specific.
They are not accepting new clients for their billing.

I have an upper cervical practice. I believe ChiroFusion is built great for a full spine chiropractor, but with no ability to save or customize templates in the objective findings, there are downfalls for UC chiropractors.

Pros

Simple and easy to learn and implement into practice.
Customer support is always helpful.
Can submit insurance claims electronically or print HCFA forms.
Small, monthly fee
SOAP notes are easy and quick to write and save

Cons

No customizable templates
Cannot add orthopedic examinations in examination section (you have a list of exams to choose from and document)

Chirofusion is great for cash practices and startup companies. It was very useful and the support was great however if you have more of an insurance and PI based office, the software becomes more difficult to use with billing and you have basically a set SOAP note with not much room to change anything. All of your notes are pretty much the same.

Pros

Support was great and they would call you back fairly quickly and do what they can to help in any situation.

Cons

Even though they are willing to help, there was not always a solution to your issue. Billing was often an issue especially with Office Alley. Office Alley wouldn't always input the electronic EOBs correctly cause us to have to input ourselves to correct the mistakes.

Cons

I would like to see a pain diagram implemented into the software to better show muscular pain and trigger points.

The ease of email and text reminders is a huge time saver! The program is so chiro friendly compared to most EHR's. The main schedule and SOAP pages are clean and easy to use quickly.

Cons

Setup in the beginning takes a little time but once it is up and macros are in, insurance is set up etc....it is great! I think this is similar with most EHR's as far as more time needed on the front end.

Pros: I love that it is specific to chiropractors. It is quite detailed but does not take a lot of time to chart notes (apart from the initial exam).
Cons: I do not like the way insurance is entered into the system. It can get very frustrating entering the insurance companies and it does not save your information as you go along. I have had to enter insurance information, patient information more than once. It can be very frustrating and time consuming.

Cons

Pros

The program seems pretty user friendly in regards to the note taking system and being able to complete the notes pretty quickly. The default settings and options make it quick and easy. The online videos are helpful and explain how to perform basic tasks step by step which is nice rather than having to wait for a response from the support staff.

Billing seems to be somewhat tedious. Although I have not completed the training modules yet, some of the data has to be repeatedly entered in

An electronic EHR from paper. Ease of use for what is there. Bring able to track patient records, files and billing. Bring able to access it anywhere. Overall I think it's better than many programs out there but it is close to being a very nice program.

Pros

The ease of using the billing and electronic claim submission. The patient dashboard is nice. The initial exam is fairly thorough and easy to go through.

Cons

I don't like the font size and how spread out the patient note is. I would like a soap note to be on one page when printed out. A new patient exam should fit on 1 to 1.5 pages. All the info included on an exam can fit on it. I don't like the extra explanation of every Ortho exam. Takes up too much space and causes extra pages for printing. Changing a CPT or diagnosis code is not an easy process in case you made a mistake and need to change it. Having to go back into the note to change a charge, then back to billing in a pain. The patient search function on the main page pops up the patient, but you cannot access that patient from the basic search. I need to enter a blank search to bring up the advanced search to get a patient up. A patient master list would be a nice option. I have an additional provider at my clinic and the additional fee was not advertised when I signed up, That is misleading when you say you can add as many users as needed, not mentioning additional fees for additional providers. I would like to be able to click on a patient on the schedule and open their note/info. A optional USB card scanner for credit card auto integration would be nice.

The exact feature you are speaking of for customizing scheduler and blocking off time is a feature that will launch in the next several days! When our clients ask for something, we listen! This feature will allow you to customize by provider and create a unique schedule for each provider in the office. Each will have their own set hours and the ability to block off times when they're unavailable, with color customizations and more! Making starting up a practice much easier!

Pros

The software is very simple to navigate in terms of going from scheduling to documentation to billing. I like how everything can be color coded and organized to your liking! The email and text reminder system as well is super useful!

Cons

The only aspect of the software that is somewhat troublesome is having to jump from tab to tab to complete notes. Also, it is very difficult to go back to notes to add things in if you made a mistake!

We do have a pretty quick draw with our support service response time... and we're quite proud of it too ;) Our reporting module guides you from beginning to end and provides you with the opportunity to easily omit tabs/sections that are not relevant in certain reports. You do have the ability to edit a recently signed note and our reporting module supports good practices should a Doctor ever be audited. One feature that would be great in the Chiro Analysis section of the Objective notes is to have the ability to set that if I select "Subluxation" it automatically fills in other fields. Will allow faster notes.
