I have worked on 4 other EMRs and DocLinks, by far, surpasses all of them.

Pros

I love this EMR! The software was written by a physician who thinks like a physician, therefore the EMR functions well for a physician. It is very intuitive and easy to learn. It allows for templates for set-up of templates and very easy to make changes based on individual patients. My records looks professional and appear to be organized with a proper flow . They appear exactly the way I would dictate them. The program allows for emphasis in places I want highlighted in individual notes. With this program we met Meaningful Use, Stage 1 and 2 for five years, and MIPS this year.

Cons

It is not 2015 certified so attesting for MIPS is much more labor intensive. There are not enough quality reports available for us, but we understand this certification will happen this year.

I find this software to be efficient and easy to navigate thru for my needs in medical transcription

It allows me to work efficiently which in the long run saves me time and stress. Easy to understand, easy to navigate through. Contains all information pertinent to what my job entails.

Pros

I find it to be logical. Also, I am paid by the 65 character line and I appreciate being able to monitor my line count in this system. This system also effectively allows me to confirm that work I have done has been properly uploaded to the electronic medical record. There is no question about work being processed as it should be.

Cons

I do have difficulty with the Mail option, not allowing me to send a note. This is not really a concern to me because I don't often feel the need to use this. If I have a question I can just call DocLinks.

My experience has been very positive: very helpful!!

Pros

It was fairly easy to learn, I can develop and add what I need. I can log into the system anywhere I am.

Cons

I wish my patient's could see my notes so I wouldn't have to give them a copy, I also would like the lab ordering system to be quicker/less time consuming.

Dr. Esser - Thank you again for the review. Please let me know if you continue to have difficulty forwarding clinical notes to patients on the portal. I'd be happy to work with anyone in the office who needs a review of this. If you need additional labs added as favorites to make it easier, just let us know. Thank you again, Kale.
