About DOX Podiatry

DOX Podiatry is a cloud-based system that includes a full suite of modules designed to streamline the workflow of podiatry practices of all sizes. It integrates with existing policies and operations and helps manage physician-patient interactions and streamline administrative workflows. Using the DOX graphical user interface, a physician can diagnose each patient; that information is captured in real time, eliminating handwritten notes, dictation and other methods of completing patient records. This real-time data capture extends to billing as well. DOX Podiatry pulls both IDC and CPT billing codes directly from the patient record in the EMR. In addition to the EMR, other DOX modules include front office & scheduling, a patient portal and medical billing ...

Measures to obtain the government stimulus

PROS

I have been using DOX EMR for over four years. Dox has helped me meet all the standards and measures to obtain the Government stimulus for the last three years, since it has been available. I am very pleased with the service and expertise working with DOX. They’ve surpassed all of my expectations in quality and customer service!

CONS

No complaints. The system works well, as described in the sales demonstration.

Not many specific Podiatry EMR's as easy as this one.

PROS

I did like how this program would systemically separate the H&P for ease of use and flow. Also, combining the codes with the diagnosis is key.

CONS

I don't know specific suggestions about how DOX can improve it's software but I feel like where I practice, it is very EPIC heavy. So if there was a way to advertise more or show more flare to the Podiatric community, I feel that would benefit the company and give the doctors more/better options

Dox does not work as advertised

PROS

The thing I like best is the power off button. This program is poorly-designed.

CONS

This program is very slow and bumps us out randomly while writing notes. It freezes two to three times per week. Customer service is basically non-existent, and notes are not thorough. Front office has been difficult for my staff with scheduling - again very slow as there is only 1 server. My billing company has been pleading with me to switch to another EMR, as they say it's the most difficult program they have had to deal with.

Not what it used to be

PROS

It used to be cutting edge.

CONS

It has not kept pace with others; it's now outdated and has terrible customer support. They are focused on new customers rather than support of their current customers.
