Pros/Cons
Pros
- Easy navigation, excellent customer service. The team is always finding ways to make keep customers happy while providing excellent customer service.
- An Absolutely beautiful looking EMR and amazing with apple products. Love the patient check in feature.
- I like usability of this vendor and the customer service that is provided along with it. I think they are a good company to go with and plus the people you deal with are nice and friendly.
Cons
- Occasional outages, worsening performance in the live claims feed for billing, and schedule performance issues recently.
- There is downtime that slows or stops practice up to 15 minutes every 3-12 weeks, which is awful. Support is not readily available as it used to be.
- Many times we are unable change a patient status from "checked in" to "in room. Nobody realizes the program glitched and the patient complains they were in the room forever.
Pros
- A fantastic app that effectively engages with patients in a user friendly interface. Developed for clinicians for clinicians.
- The app is great for patient communication and makes virtual appointments simple, it was a great tool during the pandemic. Support is easy to contact, and is very reliable especially Ben.
- It is a work in progress - and I like that. Plastic surgery is about changing the way we see things - and Symplast for the time I’ve used it - has been very responsive to feedback and innovation.
Cons
- Symplast is a daily frustration for our practice. While overall it has a logical arrangement, it has MANY features with illogical implementation.
- There's already a button for returning to the current day, which should suffice. Dosespot is very disappointing for eRx.
- When using the mobile app you are forced to type your notes in three predefined sections.
