The solution helps users to automate daily tasks and manage patient information. Eyefinity OfficeMate enables patient scheduling and provides information related to last appointment, cancellations, balance and provider details, by day or week. It is an ONC-ATCB 2014 compliant solution that offers patient/insurance billing, electronic remittance advice (ERA), mass product updates, general ledger integration and customizable financial and business analysis reporting. Eyefinity OfficeMate allows practices to process refunds and payments through integration with Total Merchant Services. Users can also set preferences to print patient’s contact number and date of birth on contact lens or spectacle prescription. Cons: Takes forever to load, antiquated system and style, can't have multiple accounts open or multiple windows, terrible report printing, analytics are costly, customer service is 24-48 hour turnaround time, prescriptions are not sent electronically, scheduling is difficult, requires a physical server, difficult to update patient demographics. Cons: Exam writer seems complicated and technical. Unable to delete duplicate patients. E-Documents system only creates pathway to documents saved on your server rather than saving them into the EHR. It is easy to book appointments, print receipts, create orders, bill insurance, etc. It is also integrated with VSP which makes billing those claims a breeze as well as with Weave which is great for our patient communications. There are so many awesome qualities to this software and as long as you fully use all that it has to offer, you will not be disappointed in purchasing it! Cons: If there was one thing that I like the least about it, it's that sometimes the VSP claims don't go through to the lab the first time.
