Excellent EMR, billing software and customer support
As a new practice owner, I spent a lot of time researching the best software for my standards and needs. I found In Touch EMR to be very organized and simplistic yet effective. Along the way, I got all the help I needed and then some. Their staff has been extremely helpful and proactive in helping us connect all the dots – offering valuable guidance on credentialing, payer enrollment, data transition, training and finally mastery of the product. They tried to go above and beyond every step of the way and have been professional and patient at all times. I was worried about getting myself and my staff trained as we got ready to open our doors. To their credit, they made this relatively stress free. I like the fact that I am able to talk to someone when I need to, and am able to document my way, with immediate billing.
CONSI wish they had 24/7 support, but their support staff does work long hours and is always available..

Good sales pitch
The product is very well laid out and fairly easy to use. The set up wasn't too difficult and the contact person for our account was top-notch - always willing to help, returned calls promptly, notified customers when she was out, etc. The company always asked for assistance in how they could make the product better - and at times, implemented ideas that were suggested.
CONSWhenever there were issues with the software - we were always given a 'work around' because updates took forever. The company has good features available but they charge for every little add on, making it challenging for small businesses to get exactly what they need. When technical issues arose (which they did often) the company would make us feel as if it were something we did or a problem on our end.

Affordable and powerful alternative to other overpriced EMRs
I was looking for a Practice Management Software that combined both documentation and billing platform systems that work in unison. I had previously tried more complicated systems that made me exhausted at the end of the day. In Touch EMR is a united and unified package that helps the private practice clinician govern a practice.
PROSIt’s easy to use, it is concise, and it has a plenty of analysis variables to study.
CONSThey release a lot of new features and sometimes its hard to keep a track. All I need is a simple way to write a SOAP note so I am in and out of the system quickly.

Great!
Easy to use and create your own templates, great schedule, very clean and efficient. Good tutorials at the beginning.
CONSLots of insurance requirements in the required documentation... too much for an out of network practice.. wish you could turn on/off the documentation requirements
