My Vision Express is easy to use, meets all my EHR and POS needs, is affordable, and has great tech support.

Straightforward and intuitive. Very good for entering spectacle Rx information and eyeglass sales.

This actually helps us so much by loading doctor information and profiles for patients right away, we have figured out ways to have the reports come out correctly and with all the information we need.

Customer service isn't the easiest to get a hold of. Sometimes it's hard to express our medical concerns to the tech guys there.

My issue is always handled the same day. She's so bright and awesome.

Great Inventory management. Interfaces with Labs/ Insurance/ Marketing/ CLX are fantastic.

I really am in great appreciation of our Customer Service Relations Analyst. She always is finding a way to help me with some program issues, which I haven't had that many.

With each upgrade I have been in hopes that MVE would have the slow problem resolved.

The recall functionality has glitches, and I am losing the ability to recall all of my patients from last year.

I'm not giving up our trainer's name because he is the best of the best.

I think that its such a powerful tool to have that no matter what you are using it for, whether its for exams or practice management or both, you will find it very useful and easy to use.

If you don't take time and really learn how to manipulate MVE you will be dissatisfied. Thinking that you are going to buy this and it will magically read your mind will lead to big unhappiness.

Bad business policies and management direction results in disgruntle customers.

I only used this particular software at my old clinic and it was great. Very easy to use and a cost effective choice for our small business.

Easily navigate through the electronic records at several sites. Support is great and always friendly.

The best part is that they always have a solution to problems. They are very friendly to doctors and staff.

The program has many great features, and possibilities. Integration with Frames Data is quite helpful.

I liked the e-prescribing functionality, which allowed me to directly import medications for certain patients who use e-prescribing into the medical record (this costs extra, though).

Bugs and problems every day. Had to switch to a new EHR after 30 days.

Now it glitches out every 10 minutes, it takes months for support tickets to be answered and dealt with, when you do get ahold of someone they are RUDE.

We love MVE, it's made our life much easier since we switched over.

When i started using this software 5 years ago it was easy to get support, the pricing was reasonable, and it worked.

In theory it seems to be easier to use than most other vision software programs. Customer Support is mostly there.

I've had two different IT professionals verify that the problem is not with my equipment or my internet provider.

MVE has the best video tutorials out there in addition to the live help.

Consider a local server over the cloud system. It's worth the extra cost.

As for the vendor, the support has been excellent. Any issues I have run in to (very little by the way), have been resolved very quickly.

Overall more good than bad. Great integration with all pre-test instruments.

As a patient, not everyone has internet access. And some of the information on there can be confusing.

Worst is that it is inefficient. Also, that they will have a  feature we like and it will be broken with the next upgrade.

The lack of new features and the lack of complete integration between the EHR and the EPM, the lack of integration causes issues in development.

Difficulty to find needed information and navigating through charts, it’s just a confusing software.

Great features (if you can get them installed), good ease of use.

Overall, I love using this website for medical information and record updates. I love being able to schedule appointments for my kids and I, it makes it really easy.

Support team was very helpful on getting the software up and running. I love that this program is on the cloud and I can access it from anywhere and they information is stored in the cloud.

I dislike the fact that they don't have a bigger stack in the hospital industry of healthcare. I think this needs to change particularly with their api and interoperability stack.

Again this is so user friendly. I have found it easy to learn and navigate.

I did like the clear interface and the cost was reasonable. Easy log in and creating an account was simple.

I have had a wonderful experience with this software and it's auxiliary products. Even when things don't go as expected their customer support has been on top of it.

I was never formally trained on the software, but I found it very confusing to use.

Very slow response times on reported software issues. Poor responses -seems to be automated responses.

Also, you aren't reimbursed always with a new lead when the contact info isn't correct for the lead. That means a loss of money for the user.

Their commitment to customer success with new edge technologies has been a great shift and kept me as a customer.

I requested the record for 2 weeks and still have not received the record. I had missed the deadline, now probably in contempt of court.

As a daily basis user, I like it's function and future diagnostic features. Which helps me to improve my skills.

I love this software it helps me at work with helping  me take notes for the doctors. To be able to view patient medical and add if needed.

It’s certainly not the best. Cerner and epic are better.

Benefits  Improved patient care: The system provides healthcare providers with quick and easy access to patient information, allowing for better-informed decision making and improved patient care.

It has all the essential functions. The customer support is great at times.

I would say that the worst part of this system is that when the internet is down, you really have no access.

Every EHR system has its pros and cons, but I believe Nextgen Office has a very good combination of ease of  use and overall cost.

This is a frustrating industry dealing with insurance companies.

All in all it's a pretty good system, it just needs some adjusting in the report options and a few other areas.

It is a comprehensive package in that it integrates the clinical side with the billing side. They do update on a regular basis.

I like that this is so user friendly. I find that it is easy to pick up and use fast.

Limited Customization & Difficult Corporate Team.

It is extremely user friendly and straightforward. One of my favorite features is how you can set access and abilities for each user and their specific role/responsibilities.

Additionally, training for the entire product is needed if not you will easily get lost. The price of a system is also up there so we warned.

Customer service was fantastic when this was Healthfusion.

At $100 and $10/a lead, with one bad lead, no reimbursement equates to 10.

Easy to use rapid billing of insurance claims to insurance companies for chiropractic patients receiving care in my clinic. Great customer support from NextGen for problem claims.

Sometimes it malfunctions and came up with errors. I think it should be reprogrammed with debugging.

I was unhappy with the product because it slowed me down and required so much excess minutia in button clicking and scrolling. Overall it is a very inconvenient software to use.
