MedWorxs Evolution Software


 

MedWorks Evolution is an ONC-ATCB certified, fully integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management solution especially designed for midsized practices. This software can only be deployed in the cloud.

MedWorks Evolution is suited for a variety of medical specialties, such as family medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology and pediatrics. The system is an integrated suite with billing and appointment scheduling applications and includes features such as in-built reports, charge/payment posting, e-prescribing and lab integration. It also offers an integrated picture archiving (PACS) system.

The solution's interface is simple and intuitive, and allows unlimited screens to run simultaneously so physicians can quickly access all patient information.

DAA was the first client on the MedWorxs system. This is a testament to our trust in their organization. We have 4 providers and 6 locations in the Denver, Colorado metro area and have grown with them over the last 12 years. They have supported our requirements well. In September of 2011 we moved to their EMR application and made the transition easily compared to the many stories we have heard about other EMR implementations. With several weeks of planning, prep and general meetings we were able to have mock patient walkthroughs to fine-tune the system prior to launching.

In addition to the software upgrade we introduced 20 or so iPads to the providers and staff. The walkthroughs provided invaluable information about what we were up against. As a result we turned the system on a Monday morning and have been using it full speed ever since. We are looking forward to achieving full meaningful use shortly and participate in the Stimulus incentives. I would highly recommend MedWorxs and often do. The screens are intuitive and very easy to learn. The support staff answers any question we may have quickly.

We are a 3 provider, 2 location, Allergy and Asthma office located in the Chicago suburbs. Our practice has been with MedWorxs since October 0f 2008 when they purchased our previous practice management system. The team at MedWorxs made our transition from a DOS based system to their modern SaaS application very easy both from an administrative and a user perspective.The tech support people are always available to help with whatever questions we may have. They are responsive and get us the answers. Scheduling and billing functions are complete and simple to learn and use. We have several people at the front desk doing charge entry. We are able to balance and post at the end of everyday allowing the best cash flow possible.

I would recommend MedWorxs Evolution to any of my peers as an excellent practice management software solution.

WIBS was established in 1994 and began using MedWorxs software in 2008. Our staff of NAAC Certified Ambulance Coders has found the software easy to use and much faster than our previous software. We were actually allowed to bill for more clients without adding new employees maintaining a high level of service to all our clients due to the efficiency of MedWorxs. The Medworxs staff is very helpful and professional. We highly recommend MedWorxs!

A couple of years ago we started to look for a new software product that was web based instead of in-house, trying to curb costs and maintenance and we found one! After interviewing with several vendors we were most impressed with the sales people at Medworxs. We felt right at home with them immediately. We were able to get up and running literally within days and with very little training needed.

The program is a breeze to use but if we had a rough spot we called the support team and they responded almost immediately. We have added several new providers with ease and efficiency. I have nothing but good things to say about the product and the staff. We are very pleased with both.

Our group consists of 14 FTE Hospitalists. We have been using Medworxs since its inception have found it to work perfectly with the type of practice we have. We like the option of not having to purchase parts of a typical practice management suite that we would have no use for- such as a patient scheduling function. One of the best upgrades and changes we have ever made has been the EDI through Medworxs. We saw our claims turn around 2 weeks faster than our previous arrangement.

I have to differ with the previous review. The service is much better than the 3 other EMR's I have used previously. The program is certified for MU-2 and e-prescribing is functional, but as in all systems needs to be real-time bidirectional. We are starting the patient portal currently. It is great as it is cloud based, the amazing charts and E-MD's I used in the past was locally hosted and was a pain to keep up in the small office I used to be in. Best cost for service EMR on the market in my opinion.
