MTBC offers an integrated suite of medical software, which includes a Meaningful-Use certified electronic health record (EHR), practice management, billing and accounting applications. This Web-based system is suitable for medical practices of all specialties and sizes and also offers custom solutions for hospitals and large practices.
Billing features include electronic claim submission from a desktop or laptop and iBill, an iPad compatible billing application. Users can view payment details, eligibility, generate ICD-9 or ICD-10 codes and create claims from past appointments. Other mobile applications include iRx, an Apple and Android compatible e-prescribing app.
The solution also includes iCheckIn, an iPad application for patient check-in, which allows patients to update their demographic information, health history and insurance/billing information. The application can also be used to photograph patient’s insurance cards and make payments using credit or debit cards. All updates are automatically integrated into each patient’s personal health record.
