  • Pros

  • SENSITIVE CONTENT] is amazing and so efficient. When the claims section is accurate, it is a great option because it tells you the status of your claims "draft, pending, accepted" etc.
  • Theraplatform has a great calendar, it's easy to include forms (such as consent for tele therapy, and other customizable forms), many of the organization features are excellent and easy to use.
  • I feel like it is a good fit for my small private practice. I use it daily and feel that the set up is perfect.
  • Cons

  • Tech support is THE WORST. No matter the issue, it is always the users error, even when several users are all having the same problem at the same exact time.
  • The fact that they did not take responsibility for their software glitch or error is sad.
  • I have to signout and back in and troubleshoot for nearly every session. It appears unprofessional to pts.

  • I also love how fast and effective the customer support is. they are always very positive and helpful and patient.
  • My overall experience with TherapyNotes has been great. They have done an amazing job creating this software.
  • Integrated billing with easy set-up, easy to use, great customer support, affordable pricing, decent clinical forms, generates good reports.
  • Cons

  • The bad: They consistently refuse to provide the simplest of features requested by their users. I am intentionally using the word "refuse" because it is clearly a choice made by TN.
  • If you have a problem, they spend hours blaming you. When that’s not the problem, they escalate and/or refer to the “development team.
  • In February, when I was warned of a charge pending for lack of compliance, I called Therapy Notes. They then told me it WAS required.
