Fantastic virtual collaboration for team voting and retrospectives.

Overall, I am very impressed. I am a Manager, updating teams and team members. In Slack, my three teams use almost every day.

PROS

- Easy to add members and teams. - We love how easy it is for team members to vote anonymously on work items using /planpoker without creating a poll in Slack or team members using voting cards or holding fingers up. - We also use this for team retrospectives and love how the flow is fun, easy to use, communicates team member interactions throughout the team retrospective, and then provides documentation of the action items. - I have contacted Team O'Clock a few times to provide feedback and ask questions, and I have been very impressed with not only the timeliness of the response but also the timeliness of changes requested!

CONS

Some teams use relative estimation, and some teams use days estimation. The /planpoker feature is built using fibonacci sequence and we have to convert that sequence to other numbers for days/hours estimation. We would love for this to be easier. Also, we cannot customize/change /planpoker values for "Private" slack channels which is a current blocker.

Team O'clock covers most of your sprint rituals

Team O'clock makes performing sprint rituals a very easy task and I'm very satisfied in using it.

PROS

This makes Sprint Rituals easy and organized in one place. You just go into 1 site and you could do all your rituals, see all your notes, and help add and remove team and team members all in one place. During stand-ups, it will take care of randomly calling out the team members for their turn to provide their updates. New team members who are not familiar with Team O'clock have always been fascinated by how the daily stand-up is performed and their names getting called and read properly by it. Prior to using Team O'clock, the team is using different tools for each of the rituals, and randomizing the turns for the standup updates is done by a wheel of names from which you are unable to call skipped members again. I also like that you are able to customize your own Retrospective activity as well as customize each Team's daily stand-up questions and duration on when the team can add their notes. Response of the support is also timely and most of my feature requests have been implemented as well.

CONS

There was a time when the integration with JIRA keeps on getting disconnected frequently and I have to connect it again and again. This seems to be fixed though so all is good right now. There are still some features missing but so far, this provides more than the basic stuff we need to run the rituals of Agile teams.

Reason for choosing Team O'clock

This is an all-in-one product for Sprint Rituals. Using different tools is a hassle and there would be several windows opened especially for me who facilitates the ritual.

Nice product

Nice one

PROS

Features like file sharing, commenting, and real-time updates on project progress facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

CONS

Team O'clock's pricing tiers may not be suitable for smaller businesses or startups with limited budgets. Offering more affordable plans or a free tier with basic features could attract a wider range of users.

Overall Experience is good, i like the all needed tool it have for planning, retro, and standup. Also, it have mood tracker, which give hint of mood for the team for the day.

PROS

Nearly there

PROS

The Slack integration is solid: async standups are great. Retros in the app work pretty nicely, too. Planning poker (when the JIRA integration works) is fairly seamless.

CONS

The JIRA integration can be pretty unreliable; when we're trying to point cards, it feels like we end up troubleshooting it every other time. This happens in Slack and within Team O'clock itself.
