Pros/Cons
Pros
- Invanto has a beautiful interface and layout. The membership and course areas are easy to navigate and just make you look good to your customers.
- I love that it's all relatively easy to use and such a great 4-in-1 solution. Just set it all up and link your checkout page to your BUY IT NOW button on your landing page.
- The ability to give points for promotion helps me create brand advocates Loyalty Point System is a great way for me to mobilize some of our super-customers to help.
Cons
- Second, the founder is extremely unstable and won't hesitate to pull the rug out from under you making you question building your business with this service.
- Some members have voiced concerns regarding the slowness of their sites loading. I hate having no control over the speed of my users experience.
- I am losing students because of this. They do not have a customer support person who will attend to your issues.
Pros
- Easy to set up, very reasonably priced and great tutorials and advice for marketing your courses. If you have online curriculum you'd like to share with the world, this is a very seamless process.
- Personally I like the reliability of Teachable, it is very stable and seamless. I should say Teachable might be the most advanced LMS platform on the market.
- I love how easy it is to make an online course. I love having a branded course and they make it easy.
Cons
- No autosave of your work, I lost hours to a system glitch where you press enter and it just deletes your course text and there's no autosave to backup to.
- Lack of graded quizzes with out moving into a more costly plan.
- Horrible, frustrating and a huge waste of a lot of time. Added so much more work for me to do when the point of having the software was to save me time.
