  • Pros

  • We are entering into their second season using TidyHQ and we are confident to say it is the smarter way to run our meetings and the smarter way to run our administration.
  • The software on the whole does what we want it to and it is effective for inviting group members to attend our conservation tasks.
  • Invoicing, budgeting, financials were all fantastic, easy to use functions.
  • Cons

  • Frustrating and I feel I am a slave to a corrupt old system. I would like to be released but I am forced to use this, and pay a greater amount every month.
  • It’s been confusing especially because of the association name change.
  • Missing an attendance tracker for something that is not an event.

  • I have been using Zipbooks since last year and I have enjoyed the ease of use. They clean interface is very appealing.
  • The invoices are simple, clean, beautiful and there is an "include PDF" option when sending out the invoice to clients (for those that prefer to print out and save their invoices).
  • Custom categories are really nice, too. Love ability to add docs to transactions and link transactions to certain clients.
  • Cons

  • Response times in my experience have been days and I am a paid member. Along with the responses are silly gifs some people may dig, but when you have a problem, it's downright insulting.
  • Third party companies can make them look bad when they have horrible customer service.
  • No balance statement, COG's are lumped together on the Income Statement, no division of income sources and no field on the Income Statement is clickable for a detailed report.
