There are free student licenses which help using course-based materials for teaching software engineering. The interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Not possible to adapt models to other methods (TOGAF, BPMN...). No link between activities & lanes in activity diagrams and other UML components (actors...).

It has already helped me to secure a substantial contract.

Some of the labeling on the different components in the diagram is confusing.

The colorful and easy to create UML diagrams, especially the sequence diagrams, convey detailed information in a very effective way.

My overall experience with Astah has been very good over the years and I will continue to use the tool in coming years.

The last thing that I want to do is to wrestle with the tool as my ideas and thoughts float away.

Our teachers and students enjoy using Padlet for many purposes. It is user-friendly and a great way to virtually display comments, work, compliments, images, etc.

The customer service representative refused to stop the service because I did not open the account. I told her to disassociate my bank card with the Padlet account.

However, I can say that some of the backgrounds and themes are kind of gloomy.

It is frustrating that students can keep adding pages to the Padlet that everyone is working on. It is also too expensive for a lot of teachers I know.

Also, the back and forth arrows are sometimes confusing. They take the user all the way to one end of the timeline which can cause them to get lost.

There are also some fun patterns and styles you can use for the backgrounds, which make it pop a little more than other more bland options.

After several months of not using the service and being charged, my friend tried to cancel the service. I kept being charged for service each month.
