A fast and reliable Client Deployment tool!

Really good, have been using the product for years and would recommend it to anyone anytime. Perfect fit for an MSP.

Pros

The ease of use and the fast deployment, both when we install it in new customer environments and in the OS/application deployment itself. It is also fast in terms of getting things done, it does not take that long time to be an expert in upKeeper (compared to SCCM). Another good thing is that it does not have any requirements on Active Directory, it can be run without (nice in AD migration projects). It is also multi-tenant if you have multiple Active Directories.

Cons

For our use I have not any request that have not been fulfilled, they are very keen on getting feedback on what features they will add to the product, so you are involved in the products evolution as a customer.

Reasons for Choosing upKeeper

Lower TCO , less overall cost, quicker, more flexible, multi tenant, and the support is more comprehensive.

Client management

We are very pleased with upKeeper. It has helped us a lot over the years. Reinstalling computers all over the world with just a push of a button. Sending out or replacing applications and settings is as easy as it can be. Deploying computers and know that they will always be installed correct. It also has a great API so you can integrate it with customer portals and so on.

Pros

We got hooked on upKeeper based on the easy to use interface. It's just straight forward and not at all complicated/messy like many other products in this category tend to be. You as a customer to upKeeper also have a very big impact on the product. Every year there are to gatherings and everyone togheter takes the product to the next lever.

Cons

It should have more automation. "If this happens then do this."

Reasons for Switching to upKeeper

It was to complicated for our purpose and to much functionality had to be self coded.

Pros

Ease of use. Vendor makes you feel that you ar part of the process.

Cons

User-level administration. You can´t really (using this product) distribute user-level installations and settings.

Upkeeper is a great tool for MSP:s in handling end customer client management

Managing customer devices with drivers, operating system and application management with ease!

Pros

This product is so great that we based our entire company services on UpKeeper Plattform. For a service provider delivering client management togheter with end user support UpKeeper gives first line servicedesk a enormous advantage to have a high "First-call-resolution-rate" since every change happens within 60 seconds.

Cons

At present there is no SSO-functionality.
