Best Music Making app Ever seen

Pros

The Soundtrap is awesome app. I make music online for free with free trial. I use it daily to make some music. There are lots of Demos you can pick from library. These demos will help you to make music very easily. The demo music is very cool. You can save the music to your drive in MP3 format in free trial. With premium Account you can save your music in Wav Format. I love this app.

Cons

It should allow Wav file to save with free trial account. Most of features are locked and only be accessible for premium account that mean ypu have to pay for these features.

My short experience with an application spotify

A great experience, I am very enjoying my use of the application, so all I want is available within the application except for the feature of not being able to create a playlist for free subscriptions, but I will soon subscribe to the paid service and I hope to see a better experience.

Pros

The thing I like most when I use the Spotify application is the artificial intelligence feature. When you log in to the program, it asks you to choose 5 singers in order to identify the type of music that I like and thus show me the music that interests me and I like

Cons

What bothers me most when I use the Spotify application is to subscribe to the paid service provided by the program, as its price is relatively high compared to competing applications, and the other thing that annoys me is the inability to create a playlist without subscribing to the paid service provided by the application

Reasons for Switching to Soundtrap

The ads inside the app are so annoying that I can't use the app well

Great Music Platform, Basic Podcast Platform

I used the platform mostly to create podcasts, for audio editing and transcription. It is good and gets the job done, the features are pretty basic though, and had to switch to a different platform for more advanced functionalities especially on the audio editing.

Pros

The interface is user-friendly and easy to use even for beginners. It is great at collaboration with the team on a task. The projects are saved online in the cloud and therefore easily accessible from anywhere anytime as long as one is connected to the internet. Recording podcasts is easy on the platform.

Cons

The platform is great for music and not necessarily podcasts. Even though recording is easy, editing is very challenging especially on the fine edits and removal of background noise. Sometimes the site freezes and it does take long to load. For those without a subscription, the many ads can be pretty annoying.

Reasons for Choosing Soundtrap

It was relatively cheaper and seemingly easier to use.

Run away. This system is not ready for production, you can lose your work like we did

Terrible.

Pros

The Marketing videos look great, sadly it stops there.

Cons

Absolutely terrible across all levels. I have a paid Storyteller subscription to record podcasts remotely. Unfortunately, soundtrap is not designed to do such function effectively and calls drop more often than not. That would be a problem in itself. However, the larger problem is that the guest voice will no longer be recorded when the call resumes and after the record button is pressed again! I lost a podcast with a high profile person, and after more than 7 hours of talking to their support, I got a note saying, this is frustrating but working as designed, deal with it. Other issues include the premium features not turning on, and you will need to request them (I'm still waiting for mine to turn on). If you manage a large file, like 60+ minutes of AUdio, you won't be able to open and edit often, you can try different browsers, and some work and others don't, but it's painful. Customer service is a joke: no empathy, no accountability, no resolution, not even a goodwill gesture. There are more issues, but nothing compares to paying for an app that does one thing for it not to work and your work be lost. Don't waste your time; if you don't want to take my word for it, open an account and cancel before 30 days, but please do not record critical materials as you can lose them, and they will wash their hands.

Reasons for Choosing Soundtrap

Their marketing videos fooled me

Reasons for Switching to Soundtrap

Because Soundtrap is a scam

Soundtrap - Your Studio Away from Home

At first, not having artists committed in-studio for recording and composing was nerve-wrecking, but as soon as we fired up Soundtrap the first time, we just hit the ground running. Working with artists online has never been easier or closer to being in-studio with Soundtrap. The platform allows our artists to work together and communicate on a flexible schedule that suits everyone's needs, and has kept our momentum going despite not all of us working within the same session. On a final note, management within Soundtrap itself seems to have been an afterthought, so producers/managers won't have access to the hands-on control and overviewing they do in-studio - hopefully Spotify expands Soundtrap's collaborative tools into the management market too.

Pros

Soundtrap is perfect for teams, but really doesn't compromise its role as a DAW for solo artist. We're busy testing a trial run of the service to help us work around changing schedules, and it's been a surprisingly intuitive platform so far. The suite caters to every artistic role, and has clearly been developed with artists and malleable schedules/remote cooperation in mind.

Cons

Soundtrap lacks some of the industry-standard project management/overview tools we've grown used to (as project leads and managers). Spotify should really keep its momentum going, and give performance/progress, archiving, KPI and other overview tools the in-depth treatment they've given the DAW itself - if they were to do this, Soundtrap will be the world-first all-in-one music production solution.
