My experience has been amazing from the time we onboarded our Infrastructure and subsequent processes that have followed to add more sensors. It is a robust platform that has ability to capture even the intricate sensor that may seem difficult to capture (i.e. CPU cycles, Memory slacks etc.) very important from the performance and security standpoint.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I am intrigued by the intuitive User interface it presents as well as the ease of use when onboarding new nodes on the network. The alerts are on point and provide the proactive approach we have been looking to to address Infrastructure related tickets.

#### Cons

I found the loading speed of the platform a little slow compared to similar dashboards. This may need to be improved on.

#### Reasons for switching to ManageEngine OpManager

I needed something that is user friendly and easy to manage.

My overall experience with ManageEngine OpManager has been quite positive. It delivers excellent value for money with robust device management, reliable SNMP monitoring, and solid asset management, along with good security features. However, it has a noticeable learning curve, and customization and configuration can be complex and time-consuming at times.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I liked most about ManageEngine OpManager is its excellent device management, proactive real-time performance tracking across networks, servers, VMs, applications. It provides reliable SNMP monitoring and also provides solid asset management, and good security features, making it very effective for keeping track of our entire infrastructure. I also loved the User-friendly interface and customizable dashboards

#### Cons

What I liked least is the steep learning curve and the time-consuming customization and configuration. While the features are powerful, getting everything properly tuned requires significant effort, especially in the beginning, also alerting system is powerful but can generate too many alerts.

#### Reasons for switching to ManageEngine OpManager

I switched from Nagios Network Analyzer because it was open source. While it worked, I needed a more polished solution with better device management, SNMP monitoring, and overall usability.

#### Pros

- The number of types of events and conditions that can be monitored is very extensive - Large amount of data ingested can be very useful in troubleshooting ongoing issues - Performance is generally very smooth - A lot of active development meaning new features and security flaws are regularly fixed

#### Cons

- Catch 22 with the conditions and data means that while out of the box it does work, to get the most of out the solution requires an extensive amount of time invested to customize the monitoring to tailor it to your needs and filter out noise - Interface is somewhat dated and noisy and very confused in its design. Some elements are clean and quick to interpret while others can be overly noisy and present to much information at that level when it would be better suited further in - Cost can be quite expensive

### Dependable, Full-Stack Infrastructure Monitoring at a Great Value

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Luis d.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Financial Services
- Company size: 51-200 employees
- Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years
- Reviewed: August 2026
- Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered

ManageEngine OpManager has significantly improved our day-to-day infrastructure management by centralizing server, network, and service monitoring into a unified platform. It eliminated manual, scattered health checks and provided reliable observability across our distributed environment. Once the initial threshold tuning was completed, it became a dependable tool for proactive alerting, troubleshooting, and maintaining high service availability. Great value for money. 100% Recommended

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Automated device discovery via SNMP and WMI makes mapping out network devices and physical/virtual servers seamless. The multi-level threshold alerts (Attention, Trouble, Critical) for resource usage like CPU, memory, and disk space allow us to catch infrastructure bottlenecks before end users experience downtime. Additionally, the customizable real-time dashboards give the IT team complete observability over core services and bandwidth usage from a single pane of glass.

#### Cons

The historical reporting interface feels somewhat dated and clunky compared to the real-time monitoring view, building complex, multi-parameter reports requires a learning curve. Also, default discovery profiles can generate noticeable alert noise during initial setup (especially on transient interface flapping), requiring dedicated time to fine-tune notification profiles and suppress false alarms.
