Sometimes, some performance related issues only occur in a specific environment and it is hard to find them in development environment. I feel Every begginner startup at least with rails should at least have the free version of new relic and the upgrade into the paid. The info on query load, the db explains. I felt it was easier to setup than with datadog. Error tracking I believe is better as well from what I recall. #### Cons I bit obtuse in making clear stuff like appdex. When I used this back in 2018-2021, I was hable to priorize stuff by endpoints by throughput and then looking at slow endpoints. I'm mostly using APM, insights and infrastructure functionality. APM is standard APM, works great. Insights are really interesting - you can figure out some weird issues much easier when you have access to a lot of data - and easy way to process/query it. Infrastructure functionality is great for keeping track of all of your servers. #### Cons Not much. There are two views for errors in APM (old and new one).
